Hi guys! In this video I'm taking you on a walking tour of Hongdae Korea, and I will show you all my favorite things to do. I'm going to take you around my favorite shops, cafes, restaurants, and more in the area around Hongik University Station. Some of the places we visit include Hongdae D'Five, Hongdae Shopping Street, Dessert Lab, Style Nanda and the Pink Pool Cafe, Chuu, and more! I'll even take you to a place where you can rest from all the walking you'll be doing and recharge (literally). I hope you enjoy this video and remember that this is only part 1 of my Hongdae series. Oh my gosh, this was amazing! Thank you, Marie for taking a lot of time to film this! It's fascinating to me all the little shops & adorable spots that are there. I wish places in the U.S. would be more like this. I live in Nebraska (born & raised, still here LOL), it's a college town & we just have so many bars, pubs & places to eat. You are so in depth this is Amazing! I especially LOVE that they thought about Wow People come to Hongdae for a whole day so they need a place to rest & recharge before they go back to shop! I would be walking around a in a cute dress but bringing my tennis shoes with me to walk but I’d bring my heels for all the photo opportunities! It’s so Amazing how every shop makes their place an attraction! I LOVE IT! It’s like an 80’s-90’s Millennial’s grown up Disneyland Life! Like if Barbie was real this would be her cool little town she lives in! LOLOLOL I LOOOOVE How you give directions! You’re Amazing!!!

Lol!!! Seriously it is like Disneyland. So much walking and so much fun stuff to do here. I could spend weeks here hanging out all day and still want to come back.

Marie's Kawaii World what a wonderful place to live! And such a great place to raise daughters! I was a private Nanny for 3 years but the town I was in was small & only had attractions certain times of year so I had to get creative, which was fun. But it would’ve been such a nice change to have such a great place to take children

I traveled to Seoul in 2015 when my sister was stationed there. She couldn’t get time off so most daytime exploration was done alone. Your videos make me want to go back so bad!

Hi! First of all i love this kind of video you explain it so well!! I want to know if i could make it to all the places in this video in one day? Since i saw you have visited all just walking. I am going to be in korea all november and i would love to see this video series of gagnam, itaewon and myongdong too. That would be really helpful for my travel :)

I think you can do it all in one day but you will have eaten a LOT of sweets! Lol. Your videos are so good! Thank you for showing us everything in great detail!! Is the “recharging” place expensive? Can you enter and hang out there for free if you don’t order anything to eat/drink? And one last thing, for your future videos could you tell us the prices of the things you eat and buy, or an estimative, cause these places are soooo cute but they look really expensive. Hi! Thanks for the suggestion, I’ll try to do that! There is an admission fee so I don’t think you can enter without paying it. It’s something like 5,000 won per hour (I can’t remember exactly) and there are packages you can get with food, or stay for a few hours.
