Your hair is crazy!!! Your curls are HUGE compared to mine. Wow!!! Black folks are blessed with SO MANY wonderful DIFFERENT types of hair that God gave to us. I have never seen such wonderful curls on anybody. Its mezmerizing!! I wasn't even looking at you because I was so distracted by your curls. They are so ridiculously big, fluffy, defined and nice.

I finally big chopped this morning and I had second thoughts after I did it. After watching this video I’m glad I did it, because I was actually ready and everyone else around me wasn’t. All the signs you mentioned, I went through it. Thanks so much for this video.

I'm ready. I've been ready for months not like 2 or 3 more like 7. I know what to do I can do it myself I wanted to but I don't feel like getting yelled at back my momma

Your hair is so pretty, is this a wash and go for you? Looks so healthy...I big chopped July 2017 and I can’t wait until I get to your length, it’s there wet but it shrinks...anywho...pretty!!!

Thank you! Yes this was a wash and go, day 2 hair I believe. Patience, and care. Keep a consistent regimen and next thing you know, you’ll look up and you’ll see inches lol

Honestly, ive been wanting to go natrual and been wanted to cut my hair, but my parents dont actually believe my hair is damaged so they wont let me :(

So, I actually never had relaxer or any chemicals in my hair, I just have really bad split ends. I’m still trying to figure out whether I want to big chop because I don’t have that line of demarcation but when I do a puff, I can see where my ends are a bit see through compared to the base of my ponytail

I have a similar issue as you. bad split ends and heat damage from blowouts and silk presses has completely damaged my curl pattern. I was able to restore some of the damage with protein treatmeants but I haven't had the same curl pattern in years. I think if split ends are your only problem and the curl pattern is still there, cut it off before it travels up and gets worse
