For the people that haven’t started yet, please read this. If you’re planning on starting I highly recommend to not tell anyone yet, trust me they will definitely not believe in you, I have done this with some other stuff and even my best friends brought me down. I told them only when I gained a few hundred subscribers as they couldn’t talk me down at that point. Point is, don’t tell anyone before you see a little bit of success. Wish you the best of luck.

I want to start a KZfaq channel because of the passion I've since I was a small kid. So many huge KZfaqrs helped me through difficult times, made me laugh, made my day just a little bit better. I want to be like that for the next generation of young kids to brighten their futures and horizons.

ok ill give you some tips and its up to you if you want to listen to me or not, i might be late as well since u commented this about 8 months ago but the major success in youtube is litteraly your passion, you need to be humble and down to earth, dont play a character and also use out of pocket humour to grab peoples attention,as you can see from my channel it got to about 600 subs but i stopped because of school and to be honest i shouldnt have stopped, remember as well quality is better then quantity.

Great tips! The only thing I’d point out is that some channel/content formats don’t really make it possible to do thumbnails/titles ahead of time (let’s plays, other live emergent/unscripted content). For example: you know you’re going to do a video (or multiple) on an event like a convention, you might have an idea of what companies will be there but cool stuff might just pop up and you go with it. What I would say is to NOT FORGET to make the thumbnail creation process part of your workflow and something you think about WHILE making the video (as in, look for stuff that would make for a good thumbnail before ending the record session fully so you don’t have to search through and try and find a clear, well framed shot to serve this purpose as a bandaid solution at the end).

This is a 9 month old video, but I came across it because I just started taking content creation seriously after 7 years of "trying." I want to start a KZfaq channel because I want to feel the joy of people enjoying the content I create. I want to build a community of like-minded people who are comfortable being who they are. I starred streaming, and I love the feeling of people watching me for who I am - no filters (except the moral ones, obviously) and I want to build a community of people who feel the same way. No money, no "fame" none of that. Just a community.

I had wanted to start a YT channel for teaching and to try and earn a little extra money, but I never really thought on it. At the very start, it was just a random videos from my life... with some art stuff and then I started trying to do more teaching. But then things just got difficult in my life and I had to put YT on the backburner. Now that I want to start it up again, it definitely feels like I'm starting from scratch, so I def appreciate the pointers and tips on what's the best course of action. First thing I know I need to do is have a plan, then stop procrastinating and actually record. One of the biggest hurdles is overcoming imposter-syndrome, or doing it while still feeling wholly inadequate. Just gotta start again... that's all.

Never give up on KZfaq!! I did KZfaq for 4 years before I saw some success. I hopped around channels from 2016-2020, posting probably over 300 videos. The most popular one had 70k views but the 2nd most popular had 400 views, meaning that the popular video was a 1-hit-wonder because it was called "TV Screen Transition" and got a CTR of like 18%. After posting on this channel from 2020-2022, I finally beat the shorts algorithm and learned how it works. I peaked with 2,800 subscribers in a week, which is insane in itself, but right now I just quadrupled my best. I have gained 12,000 subscribers in the last week.

I just started YT about 3 or 4 weeks ago and my mission was to put a smile onto peoples face and create content that I enjoyed watching myself. Honestly a lot of what you were saying in this video hit me (in a good way) because, these were the type of mindset I had towards my YT channel for example creating my Thumbnails and Title after I created my video. This especially hit my since I just graduated and the pressure to do what my family wanted me to do which was go to the military even though I my heart was set to going to the military. But I honestly creating and building my KZfaq channel has brought so much joy.Even though I struggle and have stayed up till 3 in the morning trying to create a video that I think people will enjoy. But I started watching your content right before I started KZfaq and it has given me a lot of in-site in what I can fix and what type of mindset I need to have and I Thank you for always helping and giving Information to help smaller or inexperienced KZfaq like myself and I wish you the best of luck for the future 😁

People should make videos they enjoy making and not create a channel just to try to be a successful YTer. For some channels, it only take months to gain popularity, while for others, you could have a channel for years and still be a small channel. It’s best to start YT as a hobby and not try to make it your sole career/source of income. You can always reevaluate as your channel grows. And it it stays small, in the end that’s okay too. Even if you make one other person’s day brighter/inspire one person, it still counts.

I started my channel 12 years ago but didn't do anything with it until now. I want to create a community for creatives where we can encourage & inspire each other. I feel creativity and the 'arts' need an injection of authenticity & honesty. Social Media & influencers have made everything so copy, paste & fake. That's not to say that social media doesn't serve its purpose, I just feel like for creatives, we're caught on HAVING to make THE NEXT TRENDY THING or we will not be able to survive.

It defo isn't easy, but whenever I can. The reason I started a youtube channel is mainly because of two things. I love making videos/editing them ever since I was young and because of my current situation things have been really hard so i'm hoping to generate some income if possible so I could help my mom and dad as well. So back then I would only get 2 hours to use the computer with the internet on and whenever there was no internet I would mess around with windows player and and make videos of whatever I can, there was no free software to record back then, I had to use Hypercam or fraps and then I just sort of left it.. so now i'm back at it and trying to do my best to make videos of the games I like and just improve on the mistakes I do.

Iv just started a KZfaq channel to follow along my journey from a beginner runner, to follow along my progress, iv seen many videos that show here’s my amazing transformation, in one video but I want to show my progression in real time essentially. The ups and downs you have along the way, not just a 5-10 minute video of the highlights of the journey.

I want to start a KZfaq channel because I'm passionate about horror, particularly cosmic horror. For the past decade or so, I couldn’t help but come up with stories in my head from day to day as I explored the terrors of the unknown and crafted stories that I'd narrate and voice act along with a cast of others for each story. There are a few dozen long-form stories I've written and tweeked over time, and I want to share that passion with others and connect with an audience that sees what I see in the darkness of space.

I wanted to start a KZfaq channel through having a sudden interest which gave me a eureka moment where I can create content with my siblings. I wanted to have a platform to show an everyday life of siblings getting along with one another and having some laughs. Aside from that I will admit that I wanted to create a channel to help with our financial struggles and to also help my siblings do great one their own once we build ourselves enough to become solo creators while still working as a trio.

My reason? I just love to share. I was a Learning and Development Specialist in Insurance and Supervisor skills before I semi retired - this is now me having fun sharing much lighter topics that I now have so much time for. I prefer helping others, sharing knowledge, even my failures, than I do selling the things I create

I started my channel with the desire to just make videos hoping that if possible to make it a career and take it further Now only a few seconds in I already made realizations that my thoughts towards KZfaq and the process are we somewhat right but also needed a fresh perspective which I have received through watching how to grow and it just made me realize that yes I can play a game or talk the immersion and interaction with the environment around me is what I wanted the ability to talk with users and create little gags and jokes and now 6 years later I've hit almost 250 subscribers which I never thought would happen getting hundreds to thousands of views per video which is insane and I've loved reaching each milestone and landing on the VR space really is opening up a door for the community I want where yes I still want to do other videos and games I feel like VR is the way forward atleast for my channel and I hope to take advantage of the new meta event to gain some traction and play early access

I have only had my channel for 3 months, and it has been very frustrating. I have a swimming pool podcast, and absolutely love doing it. It took several months to realize the importance of editing. 3 months ago I started my youtube channel and Tik to support the podcast. Now I love making content for these, but back to step 1 on understanding what is needed to succeed. 3 months, 82 subs. This is a grind. I'm trying to stay excited. Again, I love doing it, but..... i need a boost.

I'm my mind there are two main reasons for the channel I'm starting by the end of summer. I'd like to share with others how using VR for exercise and fitness works and that it can be an effective fitness tool, especially for people that don't like regular exercise. Also how using VR for exercise sparked an interest in other exercise activities for me. People generally don't believe VR can be used for effective exercise. That VR is only for entertainment or maybe work. I intend to change that perception. By doing so I'm hoping the channel will encourage people to try it for themselves. The other reason, which is unashamedly a selfish one, is that I'm hoping that by going public with my fitness journey the pressure will be on to continue hopefully succeed in getting fit and healthy. The channel will most likely be called "Gentle Berserker". In addition to the fitness perspective it will also feature other VR activities, mainly gaming. Some regular flat screen gaming will probably also make guest appearances.

Pretty solid take overall. I personally don't have a single family member or friend in the know of my channel, keeping it 100 percent on the down low. However, I look forward to the day I get the, "is that you on youtube?" I just took my passion, not my job and ran with it. I'm learning every single day and this is likely the best part of it all. Don't chase money, it's highly unlikely, especially straight out of the gates. Have fun, learn alot and try your best to be patient.....
