Disclaimer GUYS: This video is for entertainment purposes with an intent of also creating more... may I say awareness to the Silozi language? Basically trying to make the Silozi language better known:)… and please don't judge, It will improve, I swear! Please just kindly correct us in the comment section, if I only used a word in English, I probably don't know it in Silozi, Please kindly tell me what it is also in the comment section. I will appreciate it!
Bibi and I needed to workout, we did & thought "why not put it on camera with a little twist of speaking Silozi. Guys, I had too:) You have been requesting for another Silozi video, I had to deliver. Adding on that, Silozi is the official language for the Zambezi Region in Namibia (as it’s taught in the Zambezi Region schools as a mother language), but many people in Namibia itself have no idea of the language (and initially I thought, How Ignorant) but rightly so because they are not exposed to the language and not much of the region either. I will, every now and then be uploading Silozi videos. I myself would like to speak it as comfortable as I can, but GUY!!!!! Silozi is a difficult language, in this video alone I was amazed to realise how much English I actually do put in my silozi and how basic I speak Silozi. The makeup one was so much easier cause I probably used the words in that video often (OK OK OK… I also called my Aunty Muli and KUKU for some words before filming). Anyways, it’s the current situation, Im making the most of it, while trying to improve. In the meantime any word I think of in English that I do not know in Silozi, I research it till I get the word. so it's safe to say I'm learning a lot right now. I am So happy and excited!
