The water melt in summer helps to seep deep into the layers of rock, which in the winter lead to freeze. When water freezes, it expands, leading to weaken of layers, and further leading to landslides.

The planet is fine. We’re not. And the unfathomable arrogance it must take to imagine humans capable of preventing or altering the cycles of not just our earth but of the sun as well. It is not preventable, unfortunately. What is preventable is this continuing to perpetuate that the “science is settled” and all we gotta do is stop the CO2 emissions…from every source. Everything is cycles and patterns. In fact, it is entirely possible that by attempting to prevent this cycle we only exacerbate its affects. 12,000 yrs on average. Humans have survived many and we should survive this one as well.

Mans ego makes him believe it's humans changing the climates. They don't know precisely how quickly the glaciers moved south or retreated north. They are educated guesses. A glacier is like a slow river. snow weight builds up at the top and pushes down and out, causing the glacier to grow outward. When it gets to a cliff, it calves off. The colder it gets, the more it will grow and calf. The planet is cooling. We are entering a grand solar minimum.

When snow gets cold it can become brittle. It ends up retaining its atomic mass better and can compact tighter formations of crystalized water molecules. The formations will hold added potential rest energy in plutonic shapes(depending on elevation's) primed for flowing. Between night and day there will be gas that slowly builds up in the snow layers. The Mountain is breathing in its own fashion.

Beg to differ. Infact renewable energy projects in Himalayas, are very safe and provide a balancing effect not only to the national grid, but also to the local ecology besides playing significant role in increasing the incomes of the locals by way of direct and indirect employment. The media is blaming hydro projects, which is not true. This incident might have happened due to geological fault in the high Himalayas or global warming and investigation is on. Why blame only hydro projects ? The whole world is polluting too much and the carbon residue is reaching as high as Mount Everest. Carbon residues have been found in the most inaccessible glaciers. How did they reach there ? The pollutant particles in the air don't choose any borders/country to visit. The whole world is to be blamed. Humans are the most cruelest animals.

Following page 2:30 notice the littering on ice glacier ... in black color. Black is the most effective color to pass on solar heat to raise ice temperature. Was it a recent deposition? Is this a coincidence taken place in time with “global warming” or “climate change” issue?

May be it is a 'curved ball' but how often are all the planets the sun and the moon in the same morning sky? The sun is also going into a high energy release cycle. Are we in to a gravity induced cycle of various natural phenomena? India is still moving north, and the mountains are rising. Yes we can find explanations for some events but we need to look at all influences.
