Years back in late December I had a buck run across the road in front of me around mid day. As it come up out of the ditch, an antler fell off and it slid and stopped on the center line. I was already braking when I saw the buck, so I slowed to a stop next to the antler, opened up my car door, and reached out and picked it up without even undoing my seatbelt. Reached behind my seat and dropped it on the car floor behind me then proceeded to drive on.
