Among all Gshock model, MTG is my most favourite one, the style is rugged, not too big and stylish though looking.. MRG is the best too but it's just impossible for me to buy MRG model

MR-G is all about materials. You don't get any functional upgrades over the MT-G.

Note that the MRG only has 3 buttons (the MTG has 4). Download the manuals for both watches to learn the differences to operate certain features. Example.: the top-left hand button on the MTG moves the main hands temporarily 'out of the way' when pressed in time keeping mode. But since it also operates the stopwatch, that feature is not available in stop watch mode. The MRG does not have the 'move hands out of the way' function. The stopwatch is controlled by the bottom right hand button on the MRG.

When I had mine the hand shift didn't work in the count down or timer functions .

Is there a way to shift hands while in stopwatch? Sometimes you cant see how much tima has passed in the small stopwatch indicator because of the big minutes hand

How do i disable the auto time adjust? It drains the battery crazy fast

I love G shocks. This has a great look but I really don’t like sub dials that never get used, they just make the face too busy. Also all this complication with apps linking up with the watch etc is complicated and not much use when you have multiband that keeps your watch perfect every day anyway. Nice case and hands, but the number indicators should be white too and the face less fussed up with sub dials. These watches only need to look good, be easy to read and be tough as hell. That’s what made them so popular.

Multi-band doesn't work everywhere in the world and that's where the app kicks in. It also allows you to setup the watch which is useful for people who find using the buttons and crowns to adjust the watch complicated.

people are afraid to drain the battery life but the point of these are to wind them up and twist them until you literally cant take it anymore. lol. thats the point. i have a triple sensor I literally fiddle with all day long. and I've worn it for like 8 years. lol. Sometimes I put it in 3 different weather reports until it levels back out. lol.

How can you manually set the time using R/C with your phone not connected? And is there a way of telling exactly when the last successful R/C connection took place? Thanks for your helpful videos!

You probably know you lose some functions and are limited adjusting wo a digital screen. You can check battery level thru the app. I have yet to hear a beep on any casio and I have vg hearing. I just got the red and it is super lite and vg cool looking.

Mistake in your vid. Correction ---> To perform a ALL RESET ---> In Calendar mode. Pull out crown to 2nd click. And press the upper LEFT button for at least 5 seconds.
