that one dude called Nurugai (the little girl) an "Emishi" that would be the same people as Ashitaka from the film Princess Mononoke. thats kinda interesting and probably just an Easter egg for the dub in reference to Ashitaka and Princess Mononoke as the wiki article on Hell's Paradise says she is the last of the Sanka people, which makes more sense as the Emishi were "fully integrated" into Japanese culture around 800AD (Ashitaka is from a fictional village that survived into the Muromachi period [1336-1573AD]) and Hell's Paradise takes place in the Edo Period (1603-1867AD.) so Nurugai could not be an Emishi, but an English speaking viewer is probably more acquainted with that tribe because of Princess Mononoke than they would be with the Sanka people. so despite being super anachronistic it makes sense to call her an Emishi as a kind of verbal shorthand and I think it got the point across, I just hyper focused on it. .....anyhow that was a fun little Wikihole.

I mean I can understand bells feelings towards the show that she does like it but at the same time she feels like you know it's kind of made I can understand that comments. I mean like you know the show sometimes you don't have it has its moments of full-blown mid. But I still say stick with the show maybe you'll change your mind after time.

I agree that the show feels a little over hyped. I am enjoying it, but I'm not sure I'd call it mid either. Its definitely not my favorite of this season. I would say my favorite this season is The Legendary Hero is Dead. That shit kills me every episode. Curious what your favorite is this season Bells!
