Chapter 3 and chapter 4 are two of the greatest films to ever be created on this in the action genre. PS chapter one and two were also on that list I'm just saying three and four are my favorites by far

There is nothing better than the sheer joy on that beautiful face when you watch these John Wick movies. You better drink lots of water cause Keanu leaves you looking quite obviously thirsty. Can't say most people would blame you and there are definitely several other reactors who unapologetically have that same look.

The director of these movies was Keanu's stunt double from the Matrix movies. He was also in the first movie as the head goon of the mob, the guy that he had a long fight sequence in the bar and then later in the cathedral.

Cool fact! That sumo wrestler that John fights is Ryuichi Yamamoto. He is 6'4 (1.93 m) and weighs around 600lbs (272 kg). He is the heaviest Japanese person to have ever lived, and the third heaviest sumo wrestler ever. Also, the scene where Cassian and John are shooting at each other with silenced pistols in the crowded area kinda breaks the immersion for me. Suppressors don't really work like that. They just slow down and diffuse the gas expelled by the round being fired. It does make it a little quieter, but a lot of the time the objective is more to disguise where the gunshot is coming from. It's still very, very loud and people would have been running for cover immediately. It's still a gunshot, not a mouse sneezing.

Just stumbled across your channel, enjoying it thus far. Might I suggest for future consideration 2016's "The Accountant?" As a family with a special needs child, an action movie with an Autistic lead (portrayed by Ben Affleck), was HUGE for us. Our household's favorite movie.

Chad Stahelski's director work consists of the John Wick series and Day Shift starring Jamie Foxx. I don't know why every reactor who's watched John Wick hasn't seen this movie. His next directorial work will be on Ballerina, the sequel to John Wick. He'll also be producing the tv series The Continental following Winston's rise to power in New York during the 1970s. He was a stuntman and stunt coordinator for a lot of famous films before he directed John Wick as his first major directorial full length project. His stuntwork includes The Crow, Escape From LA and The Matrix, he also did Fight & Stunt Coordination on Van Helsing, Dredd, 300, I Am Legend and a bunch of Marvel movies from the X-Men and Deadpool to the MCU. He was also 2nd Unit Director for the fight scenes in Captain America: Civil War and Birds Of Prey: The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn. He produced the 2021 movie Bruised about an underground women's fight club directed by Halle Berry.

My one negative with this movie is that Ruby Rose died! I know she was an antagonist but she was very cool and very beautiful too :(. They handled the fight well tho'; no BS about a slight woman being able to go hand to hand with a man - she came in hard and fast with a knife knowing that was her best shot to win.

Other than the other John Wick you should see Atomic Blonde. It has beautiful cinematography and wonderful action choreography too but this time with a female lead and set in 1989 East Berlin.

I work for a gun manufacturing company in the Firearm Technology department and we play with suppression and the lowest decibel we've been able to make was around 80 to 86db which is equivalent to a balloon popping range lol. I wish we could make it like that subway scene, suppressors increase in sound the more you shoot due to the heat dissipation rate

Great reaction as always! Just to refresh: John killed Santino on Company grounds, and Winston declared him Excommunicado. He is now completely on his own with every service and safe haven of his assassin's world cut off. Add to that an INTERNATIONAL contract for millions on his life and nowhere in the world is safe; with every killer ballsy (or stupid) enough trying to kill him. It's literally John against the World, completely alone, on his own, and cut off from everything and every place safe or useful. Or, you know, just another Tuesday for John Wick!
