@@brandi3981 Precisely. I just hate it when people attack others just because they expect everyone to have their same opinions. The Secret of NIMH is one of my favorite movies, but I can understand perfectly well why it's not a movie for everyone. I wasn't sad or offended when Nick said he didn't like it that much. I could understand his views and was glad for his honesty and for giving me perspectives I didn't consider before. He's such a great guy and I find it despicable how someone like him can be insulted just for giving his honest opinion. Respect and understand other's perspective, especially when it's done in such a calm and rational way. It's really not a hard thing to do. Sheesh! 😑

@@JamieS1992why are you so salty? My parents weren't rich, but worked hard for their money and could afford it. Jeez. Internet was nothing uncommon in a western country, even in 1999 almost every household had 1 slow computer with an even slower internet connection (Germany btw...)! Even my developing country relatives had internet in the 90s. It wasn't unaffordable for a middle or even a lower income family, you know. No need to start bitching like "good for you, spoiled rich brat, nenenenene 😑". I really HATE that sort of attitude. MY rich parents!? No. My hard working parents who actually got paid enough to afford a good quality of life for them and their child, not just to survive and get by somehow. And yet still raised me humbly and responsible with money. money that wasnt overflowing! You think I'm some spoiled rich kid who always got what they wanted? Oh no. I had to work if I wanted something. Take your salty, shitty attitude somewhere else. "My rich parents"... MY ARSE. If you think a middle class income for a 3 person family is "rich", then you are highly mistaken. Middle classers in germany have it hard. You're not considered rich unless you're making 6 figures a year or own a booming business.

About the Pooh debacle, I would honestly dare to say you’d be hard-pressed to find a character more ingrained into people’s nostalgia than him. For a lot of people, maybe me included, he was the first animated character we ever saw as little ones. So I get why the whole thing elicited a…strong emotional response?? But it surely doesn’t excuse hate comments over it. You don’t have the experience that they have and as an adult, you’re naturally going to have a different response and thought process about the thing. And that’s okay! You’re offering a unique KZfaq experience! I’m really sorry people have said all those things. But all this to say that again, I think you would be hard-pressed to find another character that would cause an issue like this again. The true fans still stand with you!! 😄💖

That’s why I love watching reactions of movies that I grew up with. I’m curious to see how they hold up in the eyes of an adult and without nostalgia. Some do and some don’t. And I can’t assume every person to have the reaction that I had. Plus it helps me have a critical eye towards things I haven’t thought about like, yeah, it’s kinda screwed up how Eeyore just GAVE Piglet’s house to Owl. 😂 But I still love Winnie the Pooh for all the shorts, movies, books, and TV shows I grew up with. Point is, if you want watch someone reacting to a movie EXACTLY how you want them to, just record yourself because everyone’s experiences are different.

Exactly, for most shows, kids will have a certain attraction to the series or film, and even rewatching stuff as an adult gives you a different view point of the show. For someone whose never seen as it as kid, there's obs going to be some differences in how they feel and what they thought of the show. Since the audience is mainly for kids, it's not going to have the same attraction for adults. Definitely since everyone has their own likes or dislikes of certain genres. I enjoy the reactions from people who have never see seen it as a kid, because these shows have been made by adults, and in some ways that kinda allows you to see it through their eyes, see what they were doing for the show and also note what things they added for people who watch it with their kids. And like, for me, I adores Winnie the pooh, watched a lot of it, Piglet was and still is my favourite character, and watching it as an adult, you notice more things or realise how strange some of the outcomes happened. I adores the Piglet movie as a kid, but I'm only realising that Piglet wasn't even in his own film, it was more about what great things he did in the past, but never saw the growth. Though in some ways you can see it as that Piglet did have the strenght and smarts to pull off everything, but because he was a 'small' character the show never bothered to show what he could do. Also finding out how much I don't really like Owl XD He's just oblivious or makes things worse, mainly to move the plot along but still. We also get to understand Rabbit more as an adult, as a kid most probably thought he hated fun or was too strict with everything, but if Rabbit wasn't there, everyone would be in such a mess. He really helps them out a lot. (He also has more to loose in adventures because unlike everyone else whose stuffed, Rabbit is a real Rabbit and could get hurt)

First, It's been a long time since I watched Stuart Little, but i love this movie a lot. It really is a surprise you react to it ❤️ Second, I didn't know about the bad comments you've been getting, but I just wanted to tell you (and sorry for my bad grammar) that please never feel like you have to pretend to like some movie or series. I really like your videos because of how genuine your reactions are, and of course there will be some things you'll like less than others, and that's totally fine. I just hope everytime you feel sad bc of those comments, you remember there's a lot of us who love what you do and always support you 😁 You are awesome, so please keep doing these videos as long as you enjoy making them ❤️ Have a nice week!!

This was always a movie I watched around Thanksgiving on my grandparents' old VHS tape :) I have to say I am forever impressed by Gina Davis' commitment to this role! Looking back, the cast I think did a great job breathing a lot of life into this adaptation. Moving this kind of story from book to screen I think was gonna be pretty tricky. But the charm really holds up!

So glad you did this movie some people find it weird to watch movies like this when your older such as Live Action Alvin and the chipmunks and the Smurfs I mean yeah they are for children most of the time but they are still fun to watch even as an adult. Also Geena Davis and Hugh Laurie have amazing chemistry couldn't ask anyone else to play the parents cause they were amazing.

Your honesty is the most important thing you can give us. You're always so positive, which is great, and you are definitely entitled to your own opinions. Anyone who would criticize you for sharing your honest opinion should not be listened to. For what it's worth, in my opinion, Winnie the Pooh is great in book form, but the movie... not so great.

This movie is one of my nostalgic childhood favorites, but I did think that Stuart suffered a little too much, being kidnapped by mice posing as his parents, chased by cats ending up in the sewer only to come home and find out the family supposedly doesn't want him. But I'm glad everything turned out well

Dude it’s fun to share your own genuine thoughts. No matter if it’s universally popular or not very liked. I know when we give our honest opinions, it’s taken personal because we don’t share the exact same enthusiasm or takes as that guy etc. But as long as we respect them, it’s not knock on anyone who disagrees. It’s a scary environment to be in when you feel like your attacked all because you don’t share the very same feelings. I appreciate your honesty, and genuine responses man. That’s part of the fun. Engaging, and grasping what hits us differently emotionally. Even if we share the same opinions, we take it differently in some form. That’s the great experience about movies. Especially when someone doesn’t have as much privilege to be attached to certain characters or never had the nostalgia to go off of. Just because something doesn’t hit you as hard, doesn’t always mean you don’t recognize the draw or why it worked. Just focus on the majority that respects you’re opinions, and will be there no matter what. We enjoy your drama free positivity.

Hi Nick! I'm so sorry you've been bullied. You are a sweet, sentimental guy who should never be afraid to express yourself! You' re a very genuine individual and I enjoy watching your reactions; keep it up! Also, you might enjoy reading the book by Roald Dahl. It's quite different than this movie, and it clears up that Stuart isn't really a mouse. He is technically a human boy that just so happens to be the size and shape of a mouse. Also also, the actor who voices the cat is Nathan Lane, a very famous actor.

I love hearing your honest opinion. People forget I think how much their love for a film or character comes from the nostalgia of watching/loving it as a child. If you aren’t introduced to it until adulthood - it’s not going to resonate the same way as someones childhood favorite.

Oh, it's okay Nick if you don't agree with things that the mass majority of people like. You have your opinion and that is okay because it is yours, and if people are shocked or mad by that, that is just them. People sometimes take things quiet personally when it comes to movies or characters that they like and it's hard for some to separate their opinions and yours. I take your views and opinion openly not knowing if you will enjoy or not, but I watch to see just how you do. If you dislike something I like, while it may be sad you don't like it, I understand and see your view points and I respect your choices. And that is what matters most. But please yes take your mental health carefully and do what is best for yourself. But never feel bad for not liking something that's popular or nostalgic for a lot of people. You are unique with each of your views and reactions. It's what makes you yourself! Plus I do like seeing the opposite views to me when those views do come about. Sorry for the ramble above but I hope it can help cheer you up a little. Now about the movie, I wanna say first about the music. Reason why you like it so much and it's so good is because it's composed by Alan Silvestri who has done the Back to the Future films, Polar Express, the 4 Avengers films, and much more!! I never really saw this movie for myself at least as far as I can remember but I did see the trailer many times on a old VHS I had. But it is a cute dynamic but yeah some of logic parts are odd lol. But glad you could still enjoy! And I am SO EXCITED for singin in the rain!!!

I'm so sorry you received so much hate over your Winnie the Pooh reaction. That reaction was one of my favorites that I'd seen in a while bc I just really enjoyed your enthusiasm and your opinions on it as a whole, especially since it was something you never had the chance to see as a kid! It was really nice to see another opinion on it as well as hearing your honest thoughts about what you liked and didn't like. As a big fan of Winnie the Pooh, it made me really happy to see such an honest take on your view of what you watched, and whatever you decide to do in the future in regards to reacting to the franchise, I hope you know that I really loved seeing it and hearing your thoughts and that people who were being downright hateful towards you will reflect on their actions and learn to be kinder rather than getting defensive over a different viewpoint that isn't hurting anyone. Please keep being you and don't be ashamed of speaking your mind! I really hope you'll feel better;;;;;;
