Regardless of whether or not you like it, its hard to deny that indie animation is thriving, especially with the success of shows like this and murder drones. Though I definitely feel like there might have been some light intervention/control in the creation of the show, they just feel a bit too safe and sanitized because theyre trying to appeal to all ages. i can only hope they explore the psychological horror angle in further episodes.

This show would make a pretty good game adaptation if glitch ever wants to make a game in the future

Gooseworx did such a great job at the wacky character designs and the extravagant songs, the instant I saw Pomni and Gangle, I just wanna draw them up immediately, so I did, such an awesome job. Alongside Kevin Temmer's lively animations, muah, chef's kiss, they did such an amazing work. (I've tried to make an idle animation for Pomni but it just looked off, eh, not an animator so) Kudos for the whole team tho for creating such a bizarre, mind bending yet funny pilot, will be expecting more greatness in the future.

The best part of TADC so far is seeing the 3 sides of the fandom in comment sections. where there are people who really think this is gonna be horror(they're wrong) the people who are interested in lore and 'mystery'(the pilot explains everything that matters) and then the rest of them. The music is good. The visuals are good. I liked the humor even if it wasnt the first time I had heard/seen some of those jokes, the execution was good enough that it didn't matter to me. And some of me feels really bad for the first two groups. Like when the next episode comes out and the A plot is more caine bullshit and the B plot is jax putting banana peels every where or something that will suck for them cause they thought the series was something it aint.

I've seen how people call this cartoon a product of it's time, that it reflects all current trends, that it can only appeal to modern children, and I partly understand where are they coming from, but for some reason it reminded me of wierd shows from Cartoon Network of the late 00s and early 10s: The Misadventures of Flapjack, Chowder, Regular show, Adventure time. Maybe I don't remember all those cartoons well and my comparison is incorrect, I'm not sure about it.
