Essentially wu knew about their powers cause he was like besties with their parents (he didn't tell them this for a long time and Coles dad didn't say anything to him about his mum and jay was adopted and Zane's dad didnt know about the original master of ice giving Zane his powers somehow) and the powers get passed down through each generation

As a long time fan of Ninjago, I have to admit, some of the appeal of the show is that it can be both hilariously shitty, and unexpectedly amazing at the same time. I love me a so bad that it's good show, and Ninjago checks that box while also being genuinely good at times, and I love it to pieces

You just skipped to the final episode??! Oof, I would not have recommended that. There are so many things that happen in that last episode that can only be understood and appreciated if you've seen the seasons that came before. And now if you ever do go back and watch the show I'm worried it will have been spoiled.

As a fair warning Holly, I'd be prepared to see a lot of angry or even just annoyed Ninjago fans in the comments. They're not taking too kindly to some of your comments like "it moved too fast" when you jumped straight into the last season. Frankly, solely judging the entire show by only the first and last episode is enough to mildly miff some of us. It's like someone who's never seen Star Wars seeing the first 20 minutes of the Phantom Menace and the last 20 minutes of Rise of Skywalker forming an opinion about the entire story and then saying "it's not for me". Again, this is just warning, I anticipate that there may be a strong negative reaction to this video as it may put off some Ninjago fans. (And to you Ninjago fans, don't be too harsh! I can understand being annoyed or frustrated but don't go too far. You are allowed to have an opinion and to express that opinion but if you are mean or rude than you are crossing a line! If you have a criticisms you would like to make do it respectfully and articulately. People are not going to be any more receptive to Ninjago if they see it's fans acting immaturely and besides that, you should just be kind and respectful in general!)

Alright, let's do this one last time. Their names are Kai, Cole, Zane, and Jay. They were founded by Master Wu to be a part of something greater. Something remarkable. As the years went by, these Ninja overcame many challenges, loss, defeat, pain, and at one point, themselves. No matter what, they always stood tall and continued to fight back against darkness. That is Ninjago. It's an amazing show that has a huge fanbase and a great community. If you're into Lego, Ninjas, or just a good animated series, then I highly recommend watching Ninjago.

Something that I often suggest for Ninjago outsiders that don't want to watch the full series is to watch from Season 8 "Sons of Garmadon" to S10 "March of the Oni" as it's a soft reboot to the story and you don't really need to know that much of the show, everything previous is explained there in the trilogy. The writting and animation are the best they've ever been and it can get really serious and mature at times while still being funny here and there. I HIGHLY encourage you watching it.

I will admit the episodes definitely became a lot more fast paced as the episodes were shortened however this finale happened over the course of maybe 5 episodes, you just happened to watch the very end of it

Okay, as a Day 1 LEGO Ninjago Enjoyer, I’ll be responding to your commentary and answering whatever questions you had when you watched the show in the absolute worst way possible and be as spoiler-free as I can(even if someone in the comments has already recapped the entire show for you). You may want to sit down for this one… 3:11 The co-creator of Ninjago is a big Star Wars fan. Samukai’s allusion to General Grievous is super hard to miss. 3:15 5:35 It is just the first episode. Like everything else in the world, WilFilms’ action sequences get better later on. 3:40 4:25 5:03 Wu didn’t just abduct four random people. He knew that they would be something more because most of them were the children of past elemental masters, which Wu knew very well. As for Zane’s case, the previous elemental master of Ice just saw something in him and passed his Ice powers to him…or something like that. Oh, and there was a bit in Crystalized when Wu said that he “would not lead a group of children into battle against [evil]”, to which [a child] responded by pointing out that that fact “never stopped [Wu] before”. That was funny. And yes, while it does seem pretty dumb in hindsight that Cole, Jay, Zane, and Kai would accept Wu's request to join him with little hesitation...come on, who DOESN’T want to be a ninja? 3:52 When you put it that way…yeah, pretty much. 4:08 By that moment, Wu said a minute and 35 seconds ago that Kai was supposed to finish the training course before he finished his tea. So naturally, he was going to be making his “stupid” tea instead of watching Kai(for the most part, anyway). 4:33 9:40 Zane is an android. A NINdroid, in fact. He always has been a nindroid. Of course he would be socially awkward because he isn’t actually “human”. I just started to watch Ninjago from 1st season recently as adult, because I started to get more interested in this theme, and buying some sets to collect, because of the look of the figures and sets, I think Ninjago has great and interesting looking figures, and I like the Japanese style buildings of this set, so I thought I give it a try to know the story behind it. I can't tell anything about it as I only watched 3 episodes so far, but I think also adults can enjoy it if they don't expect much.

Quick summary of Ninjago: Pilots - Gets Golden Weapons, “General Grevious” dies, Garmadon disappears to another dimension. S1: SNAKES, KID LLOYD, Purple Snake is big baddy and releases big snake, Wu brings Garmadon back to help fight, Garmadon is able to defeat big snake and escapes with the weapons. S2: Filler, Garmadon loses the Golden Weapons, Snake People kick Garmadon, Garmadon finds the Overlord, basically the prophecy of the final battle comes true, Lloyd becomes Gold Ninja and Garmadon isn’t evil. S3: Cyrus Borg makes more Nindroids (Basically Copies of Zane), Ninja Group up again, Lloyd loses Golden Power, Overlord and Purple Snake is back, Zane sacrifices himself and defeats the Overlord. S4: Ninja groups up again, find out that Zane is alive, joins the tournament, Cole frees Zane, Big Baddie tries to steal everyone’s power but Kai defeats them, the baddies turn into snakes, Garmadon sacrifices himself. S5: there are Ghost ninjas now who can possess stuff, ghost big baddie is pissed at Wu and possesses Lloyd, they save Lloyd, Realm Crystal is introduced, Chima is canon, they release a big ghost monster thing, Nya becomes Water Ninja, and the Ghosts die. S6: technically doesn’t exist, but Nya and Jay become a thing. S7: Two bad guys are Time Warpers, they make Wu older/weaker, Nya and Kai’s parents are found, um basically Wu was lost in time and Lloyd becomes leader. S8: Harumi is introduced (the cheese) and basically they bring back Garmadon (the evil version) and Lloyd loses his powers. The Ninja and Baby Wu gets transported to another dimension. S9: Lloyd creates a Resistance, Wu grows up and becomes the Dragon Master, the ninja finally team up and defeat the Sons of Garmadon (its a gang not his actual children), Lloyd gets his power back, and Harumi dies. S10: basically demons take over the city and they kill them off with the Tornado of Creation. Also Lloyd meets the First Spinjitzu Master. S11 - Snake lady is awaken and steals Kai’s power and Zane gets transported to another dimension and becomes the Ice Emperor. S12: They get sucked into a video game and then everyone gets freed S13: The Ninja heads to the city of Shintaro, Cole learns more about his mother as well as the Spinjitzu Burst, the king was the villain and his daughter takes over the throne. S14: Nya feels depressed that her powers aren’t too good, Squid people attack and wake up a giant snake called Wojira, Nya sacrifices herself S15: undoes her death, the villains since S11 come back, Garmadon is back, the Overlord is back, Harumi is back, and you already know how it ended…

ok so coal was turned into a ghost for 2 seasons and an anniversary episode and zane figures out that hes a robot and he always was one and morrow the wind ninja was brought back to life after season 4 when the departed realm was opened up for a split moment...

This whole video is just pain. First: There are 15 seasons. And you've missed way too much to watch the final episode, you don't even know who the Overlord is. Watch Ninjago Decoded, and you'll understand at least a little bit what happened in the first 7 seasons.

If anyone is confused, the continuation of the Ninjago Universe will be a new show, lead by a different creator as Tommy Andreasen has left, new characters/actors as Vincent Tong (the voice of Kai) thanked the community for 12 years of support. Also Holly's confusion was hilarious.

i have only watched up to season 15 but the middle seasons are objectively the best so from like season 4-9 are my favourites

Interesting idea but it’s pretty stupid. You defenetly have to watch the entire Ninjago series, otherwise you don’t really have no idea what is going on. It has so much lore (even if it’s kinda chaotic) and great stories, characters and awesome villains.

This children tv show has no right to be as good as it is. I like how they make it good for younger audiences but also great for older ones as well

I feel like watching pilot, s2 finale, S5 finale, s10 finale, and s15 finale is the best way to do this type of video.

I can try to summerize the whole show. (Sorry for my bad english) Pilots: The Ninja get the weapons and save Nya. Samukai (the leader of the skelletons) dies. Garmadon escapes from the Underworld. Season 1 Rise of the Snakes Garmadons little son Llloyd gets angry at the Ninja and relases the ancient tribes of the Serpentine, to get his revenge on the Ninja. Phythor, the leader of the Serpentines, betrays him. The Ninnja capture Lloyd and Wu teaches him how to become a good person. (The Ninja also find a prophecy about an allpowerfull green ninja.) Nya becomes Samurai X. Phytor tries to awaken the Great Devourer (an ancient Sepentine godlike beeing). Wu tells the Ninja that Garmadonn was once good until the Devourer bite him and corrupted him. Then he tried to get the weapons fought with Wu, his skin burned and he was banished into the Underworld. Zane finds out that he's a robot. The Serpentine capture Lloyd and Wu searches for Garmadon to rescue hhim. After Lloyd is rescued it's revealed that he is the green ninja. Phytor awakens the Devourer and gets eaten by him. Garmadon kills the Devourer but gets the weapons during this process. Season 2 Legacy of the Green Ninja Garmadon merges the weapons into a Megaweapon and accidentely revieves pirates. The Ninja meet a guy called Dareth. Lloyd grows up, thanks to a magic tea. The Megaweapon gets destroyed and Garmadon reaches the Dark Island. There is an anccient beeing, called the Overlord, who represents every darkness in Ninjago. (bassicly the oposite of Llloyds grandfather) Lloyd meets his mother, Misako. The Ninja trie to stop the Overlord and Garmadon. The Overlord betrays Garmadon. Lloyd defeats the Overlord, and Garmadon turns good again. Season 3 Rebooted A fewe years have passed and Ninjago is futuristic now. (Thanks to a guy calles Cyrus Borg) Zane falls in love with another robot, called Pixal. The Ninja find out that the Overlord and Phytor have survived. The Ninja make peace with the Serpentines. The Overlord gets the golden weapons and becomes the Golden Master. Phytor gets shrunked. After Wu and Garmadon fail to stop the Overlord Zane sacrifices himself to defeat the Overlord. Season 4 Tournement of Elements The Nina find out that Zane is alive and on the island of Mater Chen. (Garmadons former Sensei) Chen invites them to a tournament and Garmadon tells the Ninja that teir are other people with elementel powers. Kai falls in love with Chens dougther Skylor. Pixal is now a chip in Zanes head. The Ninja free Zane, Chen is evil, Skylor betrays him, and in order to stop Chen Garmadon sacrifices himself. Season 5 Possesion The ghost of Morro (Wus first student) shows up and tries to get the Real Crystal (there are 16 Realms, and the Crystal grants acces to all of them) in order to bring his master to Ninjago The Ninja meet a thief, called Ronin. Cole gets turned into a ghost. Nya finds out that she can controll water. The Ninja stop Morro and he dies again. Season 6 Skybound This season bassiclly never happend, becouse of a time reversal. But Jay and Nya are now together. Season 7 Hands of Time Acronix and Krux (the former elemental masters of time) schow up and try to build a time macchine to change the past. Kai finds out that his parents are still alive. Pixal gets a body again and bocomes the new Samurai X. The Ninja stop Acronix and Krux but Wu gets lost in time. Lloyd is the new leader now. Season 8 Sons of Garmadon Lloyd falls in love with a girl called Harumi. Theres a cult that tries to ressurect Evil Garmadon. Cole finds out that Wu is now a Baby. Harumi turns out to be the the leader of this cult. (Becous the Devourer killed her parents and Evil Garmadon killed the Devourer. Harumi brings Garmadon back. Garmadon takes controll over Ninjago. Kai, Jay, Zane, Cole and Baby Wu are sent to the First of the 16 realms. Season 9 Hunted The Ninja meet in the first realm a group of Dragenhunters with their leader Iron Baron. Wu grows up, the Ninja defeat the Hunters and return to Ninjago. In Ninjago Lloyd, Nya, Pixal, Misako, Dareth and Skylor form a Ressistence against Emperor Garmadon. Harumi dies, the other Ninja return and Lloyd defeats his father. Season 10 March of the Oni Garmadon senses that evil beeings called the Oni will return through the Real Crystal to Ninjago. He has to team up with the Ninja. They defeat the Oni and Garmadon leaves the Ninja, not sure if he is good or evil. Season 11 Secrets of the forbitten Spinjitzu The Ninja accidently relise the Serpentine Aspher, who wants revenge on Wu, becouse he betrayed her. Zanedefeats Asphera, but gets send into the Never Realm. The Ninja follow him there and learn that the Ice Emperor, the ruler of the Never Realm has captured Zane. Than Lloyd finds out that Zane is the Ice Emperor. He lost his meories and got brainwashed by a guy called Vex. They rescue Zane and defeat Vex. Season 12 Prime Empire The Ninja get succed into a videogame. That videogame calls himself Unagami and comes with the help of a person called the Mechanic to Ninjago. There Jay convinces Unagami to be good. Seaon 13 Mater of the Mountain The Ninja travel to the city of Shintaro. It turns out that Vangelis, the king of Shintaro, uses dark magic and enslaves people in order to collect Vengestone. (A stone that can block elemental powers) Vangelis sells the Vengestone to someone called the Crystal King. Cole finds a conection between Shintaro and his mother. Then he defeats Vangelis with the help of Vangelis daughter Vania. Season 14 Seabound Nyashas problems with her power and Zane finds out that something underwater is the reason for that. So Nya goes with her mother and the Ninjateam underwater and finds out about a lost city, called Merlopia. Kalmaar, the king there tries to destroy the surfice. At the end of the Season Nya has to sacrifice herself and emerges with the seas in order to defeat Kaalmar. Season 15 Crystallized The Ninja bring Nya back, but now she has no powers and becomes Samurai X again. The mysterious Crystal King invites Phytor, Asphera, the Mechanic and Vangelis into his Council. Lloyd finds out that the Crystal King is the Overlord and that he resurected Harumi, who is now his herold. The council destroys the monastary and steals the golden weapons. The Overlord gets a new body and attacs Ninjago city. The Ninja, Wu, Pixal, Skylor and Garmadon, who returns now on the good side, fight against the Overlord. Harumi finds out that the Overlord ist responsible for the death of her parents and joins the Ninja. The Ninja defeat the Council and get the weapons back, while Lloyd and Garmadon fight the Overlord. The End

As someone who’s seen this whole show, you missed so much in terms of characters and plot- Here’s an explanation if you want it, Lloyd became the green ninja and had to fight his father, his father became good then died in season 4 until his evil side was brought back, which was the one that’s in this finale. He assumed he was incapable of goodness and a few episodes followed his journey to good. The demon forms you saw were actually oni forms, the oni and dragon have a huge backstory but basically the first spinjitsu master was both oni and dragon, wu got the dragon side and garmadon got the oni side, that’s how I think about it at least. Since garmadon has the ability to turn into an oni (what you saw) so does lloyd, multiple episodes show him learning to harness this side but when he finally does it he freaks out because he doesn’t want to be evil like his dad. The form the ninja were in was called dragon form, the show pulled a really weird move and had them “jump up kick back whip around and spin” which was the original theme song, I’m not even kidding. They also had to be reunited with all their allies which in reality was only the people from this separate show. *(Ninjago was split into 2 shows, one was the original, it had a better ending in my opinion. this was the second)* They basically just sprouted wings and their powers were stronger so that’s dragon form. Zane is a robot, however this is something that’s been true since season 1. He’s always been a robot but he was usually in his human look until season 3’s finale where he accepted himself and went full robot. He found out he was a robot in season 1-2 before getting his true potential saying, “I know who I am” overall it was a really good episode and lots of dramatic stuff. Cole was a ghost but only for season 5 and 6, then he was normal again in season 7 because in between the seasons a movie released where Cole helped a grieving ghost and his students move on and saving himself after just in time. The movie was called day of the departed. *I will admit you probably should have watched the original shows finale over this one* it had a better ending for the original story and this one had a lot of references to characters who weren’t in the original show, while the original shows ending was all people from the older seasons.

As with the general sentiment of the comments and the ninjago community as a whole, these episodes do not represent the best of the show very well, and whilst they are good and classic episodes, the best stuff is the oni trilogy. Its much better than this. theres definitely a lot more to do over plot points.

I honestly don't how people have stuck with this show. It was already soft rebooted with season 8, garmadon has died like 3 times. It's all really confusing. Seasons 1-7 are all good.

This goes without saying but the show as a whole is actually amazing, you should watch it but I would specifically recommend seasons 4-9, they are masterpieces, except for season 7

Julien, someday previous master of ice came to zane's house and gave him elemental power of ice 5.golden weapons had a particles of each main elements so when ninja touched all weapons they unrealesed this particles to create a golden ultra dragon, in newest canon ninjago book kai, jay, cole & zane unlock again those powers because elemental master can't loose their power and someday they come back

For an idea Holly you should watch one episode from every season and than rank which episode from the season you’d watch the entirety of and which ones you wouldn’t watch the entirety of as a season 👌❤️

Imagine watching season 16 finale and not knowing who Lloyd is

if you only watching 1st episode and last from crystal you wont understand it fully and your missing out on lot of story/character development. Also i wouldn't count ninjago movie as part of the series as ninjago movie is non-canon from series i think.
