I know I'm way late to this but Robert did NOT write the soundtrack for this. Carter Burwell was the composer. For Bella's Lullaby too (the one Edward was playing on the piano). Robert Did, however contribute 2 songs to this film that he sang and played the guitar for. The first one was in the restaurant where they have their first "date." The second song was near the end when the flashbacks are happening before Bella wakes up in the hospital.

Robert Pattison thoroughly made fun of this movie and his role in it. He knew how ridiculous all of it was so that was a redeeming quality for him to be taken serious in other roles later. Nothing beats some good self awareness

The reason why they sparkle is because their skin is basically as hard as diamond. And diamonds can only cut diamonds. So, that means only their kind can kill them. It's pretty brilliant because the point of a vampire is not to be strong yet breakable. They're supposed to be perfect killing machines. So, it makes zero logical sense to say that the Sun or a wooden stake kills them, and garlic and Holy Water burn them. This type of vampire is easier to integrate within human life. Don't get me wrong, I love every version of the supernatural. But, when it comes to logical reason, I stand by Stephanie's vampires because they aren't helpless to their prey if their pray made a makeshift stake. They are virtually indestructible.

I love seeing ppl watch twilight for the 1st time. I watched the movie before not knowing they were vampires and not knowing there were books. I was hooked and a fan as soon as I saw the baseball scene. I’ve always been a fan of vampires…the lost boys, true blood & all the rest. But nice to see a twist of pretty vampires…no scary faces. I’m excited to see your reaction on the entire saga/story!

Actually that sparkle thing was coz the author who wrote the books (Stephanie Meyer) had a dream about this sparkling vampire and this human girl in a meadow. And from that dream she created these twilight books. She might have kept the sparkle thing just as a reminder that she had it in dream (just my guess)

Also, in New Moon on her bday when she gets the picture with him, the book is a bit different. I believe Bella and him are at her truck, and she half joking-half seriously asks him something like, “If I take this picture of us, will you show up in it?” So yes, they do exist in fiction in the Twilight universe. Edit: It’s also why Edward asks Bella in his house, “What were you expecting? Dungeons and coffins and moats?” And she says “No, not the moats.”

Yes, it's been 3 years. I just started watching reactions to Twilight lol Love the question about if it's worse when she's menstruating. Never thought about that and definitely never heard anyone else bring that up, at all. But it's so obvious idk why I haven't thought of it before.

I don't care what people think I love this series cause vampires! I could relate to Bella because I'm also clumsy and awkward. Most people nowadays call Twilight 'cringe' cause of the awkwardness but I think she was awkward because she was a clumsy introvert and he was awkward because he was a vampire trying to fit in among humans and her scent in particular drove him nuts more than any other human Fun fact: It's not mentioned in the movies, as far as I know, but in the books, it's stated Jacob's tribe are not actually werewolves. They're just able to transform into wolves. Actual werewolves are more vicious with no control of their transformation.

From what I recall from the books, vampires don't bleed. They're made of a diamond-like flesh, and are indeed very hard, but they have no sort of fluids in their bodies. So I doubt the blood-free fights are due to the movie audience. I think they're related to a will of sticking as closely as possible to the books. Anyway it was fun rediscovering that movie through your eyes :)

I much prefer the Vampires in the Vampire Diaries than twilight lol even tho I was a huge fan of these movies and went to every avant premiere back in the day when you still had to wait hours and run for your life to get a good seat in the movie theater lol. I prefer the books than the movies and the Edward version actually was leaked years ago but she only released the book recently. Also Rob only wrote the song he's playing at the piano with his sister.
