VLOG 08112023
The whole point of my channel was to document my watchmaking journey from the beginning. I bought a Seagull ST3600 movement to practise on and develop the basic skills I know that I need.
Today's VLOG is practising oiling the pallet fork exit stone and hence the escape wheel teeth. This step is often not shown in KZfaq watch overhaul videos but is an essential part of lubricating a movement.
I tried TWO different ways to do this, and I welcome YOUR comments on which you think is the best way.
