This Gh and our law eerr.... It's favour de rich🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ I rem somewhere around 2007, a certain woman came to our house to insult m cursed ma mum. There were exchange of words between dem. Did said women went home to tell his son dat ma num x insulting her n other tins. Dis guy came to our house to also insult ma mum. My mum hit de guy wid a kitchen stool. N de guy collapsed. They rushed him to de clinic n there was a police case dey came to arrest ma mum. Buy my uncle went to bill her on dat same day. I was in then in SHS 3. When I heard abt it, I went home frm sch n excorted my mum to de police station. Dey told my mum dat they ve processed de case to court. My mum was scared and was pleading. I asked her to explain what happened to me at de police station. She did, I said ok gud, u hit her wid de stool once. Ryt? It's called self defense. U would ve had a case if it was more than once. I requested for her statement, I read through n saw the police didn't write everything my mum said. I asked for a rewrite. De inspector then asked my mum who I am. She told her am her last born. De man asked me where I work, I told him am I'm SHS 3 n doing Government. De man said no wonder. And he advised ma mum to take gud care of me cos I know what am saying. Dey processed de case to court, we went for de first day, dey didn't call de case. We went on 3 tyms n dey didn't call de case. I den told ma mum not to go again. N till now we don't know how de case ended.

The shop owner only taught about his business but not the safety of the security guard

Who was the judge who handled his case and was he given a public attorney? They both need to be questioned and face the law as they made this poor man face the law. A country like Ghana acts too civilized for such nonsense to be happening in that country. This is a sad situation and such should not happen to a human being. Clearly this was self defense situation so why is he paying such amount to the court?

Miscarriage of Justice as usual. Shouldn't the complainant be the accused instead, for defecating on someone's private property? Being hard pressed by nature's call is not an excuse to trespassing. And if even the securityman was the accused, shouldn't it include the employer on whose behalf his actions ON DUTY was? What happened was job related. The securityman did it not for himself but for his employer. I think, for his troubles, the securityman can sue his employer for her irresponsible behavior and negligence of her obligations.
