On November 12th, 2018, we lost one of the greats. Within the world of comic books, it could be argued that there was no single figure more important or influential than Stan Lee. Though he perhaps had equals in terms of creative contributions to the medium, Lee outshone them all by making himself a leader, champion and ambassador of not just Marvel, but the medium as a whole. Join us as we celebrate this vibrant, enthusiastic and creative life by revisiting the innumerable contributions he made to the world of comic books and pop culture, as well as the ways in he touched countless lives.

Thank you so much Stan. I never got to meet you. Your work has been a constant positive impact in my life. It was like having a second father. I know many of us feel that way. You connected many of us through your comics and movies that made us all laugh, cry or cheer at the top of our lungs. I'm proud to share what you've done with my sons. Once again, thank you Stan Lee. This is just my opinion, but maybe they could keep making cameos in order to keep Stan's legacy alive in the movies, although you could argue they ARE his legacy. It could be either CGI like Grand Moff Tarkin in Rogue One ( Idk if they can mimick his voice, so they could be silent) or just as an image in the background at some point. RIP you beautiful creator, and Excelsior!

It took me a while to watch anything about Stan Lee.. he’s not just a man he’s a real hero to all. It really did feel like I knew him and he was a family member that passed away. It just broke my heart but just knowing he’s with his wife now so we should smile about that. Rest easy Stan Lee

Trainer Red That cameo for me was the very best part of Spider-Man 3, Kind of like IMHO the only highlight of Amazing-Spider-Man 1 was Stan’s cameo as that teacher listening to classical music in his headphones while that fight is going on around him that he’s oblivious to, 😁 There will never be another Stan Lee, R.I.P. to Stan the Man. 😕

Interviewer: Jonie is the reason the marvel universe even exists, right? Stan: she’s the reason my universe exists. Stan the man everybody! I really hope his last cameo in avengers or spider man he’s revealed to be the “one above all” and his realm/home is just a white empty space with only a small wooden chair, sketching desk, a piece of paper and some pencils. On that paper was all his original characters. Ahhhhh rip Stan Lee. A true super hero

WatchMojo you have another subscriber, thank y'all 4 the SUPERIOR Stan the man Lee tribute. I got teary eyed watching this, dang I still mourn and will 4 a year. A year mourning is a Lakota Sioux tradition, he was like a grandfather to me and helped me grow up a hero (protect my fam, stand up against bigotry and racism and become a man who inspires others thru his teachings.) I grew up hearing his voice on the Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends cartoon show. I started collecting comics incl. DC Comics, but Marvel and the X-Men universe have Native Americans that are apart of or lead teams in the X-Men universe. I drank myself into an Alcoholic and dropped outta college. My fiance told me to sober up or leave, so I did and got counseling, but still needed more- HOPE. Comic books give me that and now I am 7 years sober and back in school to be a hero to my family of wife, son, and daughter. EXCELSIOR 'NUFF SAID.

I am sorry. I completed the video to see why people disliked this video. I wondered if it was how Mojo edit it, or maybe the fact that its Marvel? Maybe non comic book fans disliked it. I dont understand why we cant come to an agreement just this once and remember what Stan the Man Lee did for us. He is a hero to all. I mean he did a cameo in Teen Titans Go to the movies. We will never forget him just like how we will never stop loving the wonderful,genuine and wise person he was. To say that Stan lee is a legend is a gross understatement! He created a world we can all escape to, he wrote some of the best of American mythology, he broke ground with just mentioning real world issues and touching on them in a way on he could, he gave even the most depressed kids and sometimes adults a reason to smile, and the list goes on! Growing up i was always bullied and coming home and reading about or watching these amazing characters gave me life. It allowed me to feel strong seeing these flawed relatable people become heroes and stand up for what’s right along with protecting the weak. I cherish that and I hope I can speak for all of us when I say that he is my favorite superhero! Stan Lee’s legacy has given us more than just fun colorful books to read, he gave us his love. RIP Stan the man, EXCELSIOR!!!

Stan Lee is a hero, he inspired me in so many different ways. He is an unexpected hero that came to our generation, my father adores his work since he saw one of his shows on tv. Everybody say Thanks to Stan Lee.

I can honestly say out of all the celebrity losses over the last few years, this is the only one that actually affected me on an emotional level. He is an icon, and a legend. Now he moves on to the greatest adventure of all. Rest Easy Stan, you've earned it.

Good job of mentioning the Bullpen Bulletins. They were such an important part of how Marvel connected with their young readers at the time. I know because I was one of them.
