You may consider watching the series again when you blame Walt for the cause of his suffering, crying all over and saying bitch doesn't say smthing to me cause I can use my brain and see the facts. I hate that Jane was portrayed as his “one true love”. Yes, they had nice chemistry, but they were so horrible for each other. Whether or not Jesse was involved with Walt, she’d have been destructive for him (and, likely, him for her). Andrea was the far better partner for him: she knew of much of his past, and was compassionate, nonjudgmental, and supportively loving. For me, the one real mistake of El Camino was having Jesse daydream about Jane, rather than Andrea.
@fairfight9857
@fairfight9857 3 жыл бұрын
Maybe because Jane was his first love. Jane’s death could be avoided if Walt decided to help. Andrea’s death couldn’t really be avoided, as her murder is Jesse’s punishment from Todd & the gang. But yeah Andrea is a lot better for Jesse, not to mention how Jesse loves Brock too.

I was reading this comment confused as to how Jane is demonstrated as the "one true love", and then I read the last line (I haven't seen El Camino yet). I love both Jane and Andrea (though Andrea seems more like a better, longer standing relationship kind of choice), and it's too bad they aren't both treated as equally desired/missed by him in El Camino.

Jesse's time in the captivity of Jack's gang was the worst thing to happen to him by far. He was abused mentally, physically, he had to watch Andrea die because he tried to escape, and he became a shell of his former self. In the last episode, as much as Walter hated Jesse for working with the DEA, he took pity on him after seeing what had become of him, and shielded him from his machine gun trap, taking a bullet in the process, that ultimately killed his hostage-holders, except for Todd and Jack. And I think them surviving actually made it better, as Jesse and Walter both had reasons to take revenge on them. Jesse strangles Todd, avenging Andrea, and Walter shoots Jack, avenging Hank.

Man watching Jane die was painful bc he didn’t see her die, it was only after she already died when he found her dead, right next to him in bed. And after that he blamed himself for it, therefore feeling responsible for the plane crash in ABQ. But I feel Andrea’s death was a lot more effective, bc he actually saw the girl he loved die this time. Plus she had a child, and he was trying to keep her out of all the things he did. Idk man, they both changed him but I think Andrea’s death was worse.

I guess this needs to be updated. The torture, making him run while chained in El Camino’s flashback, looks very painful. Also, being unable to kill Todd in the desert despite having a clear advantage (and knowing the Nazi crew was out of town), was pretty rough. Clearly a broken and afraid man, unable to kill his captor

My guess is they would’ve gone after Brock if he had killed Todd in the desert so that’s why he was very hesitant. Which I am glad he didn’t because we wouldn’t have gotten todd’s satisfying death in the finale.
