Something no one talks about is, when Sonic is at the bar and throwing darts, It is a reference to the Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog. In an episode where Sonic was a Cowboy, and was a terrible shot.

That post credit scene with Tails was really fitting.

The fact sonic cant swim, when he runs into the ocean.

How come no one includes the “I hate mushrooms.” quote that Sonic says? It’s a clear jab at Super Mario and the 90’s rivalry between them.

The Tails cameo was the best thing! He looked absolutely adorable and I love how we're gonna get a new take on how he and Sonic became best friends if they do a sequel. Also I am so glad they got Colleen Villard. She is the best Tails!

This movie went well above my expectations. Can't wait for the sequel if it happens.

I was so wrong about this movie, I thought when I saw the trailer “Gosh! This is going to be another flop cinematography adaptation of a game” I enjoyed, laughed like crazy and I want a sequel with more characters from Sonic like Knuckles, Silver, Shadow, etc.

the most blasphemous thing i heard someone say while leaving the movie was that "Tails wasn't that fast" when he showed up.....and he actually is. While it's not his main schtick cause sonic is faster than him (Duh), tails still moves fast enough to be able to keep pace with sonic. it'd be ridiculous to have a side-kick, and not have the same power. It'd be like Green lantern taking robin under his wing and then flying into space without him having the ring........

Subtle Reference: In the movie, robotnik chooses which machine he should choose, similar to how robotnik shuffles cards to decide the machine in sonic X

The map that Sonic looks at when he drops his rings in the beginning shows a Chaos Emerald symbol, meaning that each of the 7 worlds have emeralds hidden in them, which might be explored later in the sequels.

Wishful thinking, but Eggmans line at the end of the movie where he says he will "Be back in time for Christmas" made me think of Sonic's actual birthplace and island of origin in the games, Christmas Island. But that's a major stretch..

My older brother took me out earlier today to go see this film, i actually enjoyed it more than i thought it would... Im genuinely suprised with this film... The CGI change for Sonic(that held back the film for a good few months for them to prefect) REALLY helps.

Awesome video! I can't believe I missed some of those easter eggs! And it's just my opinion, but I'm totally fine with Sonic doing the Floss, he is a kid like 15 or something, he would love the concept of Fortnite. Plus, the producers knew that a large portion of the audience would be kids as well, it's probably the same reason why Endgame had Thor play Fornite. It's totally your right to not like Fortnite, but come on, it wasn't uncalled for.

Archie Sonic: the race car bed at the end he gets from Tom and Anne is like the race car he’s he sleeps in, in the comics. The ring sound effect whenever he grabs his warp rings The warp rings themselves are used exactly like this in the Archie Sonic comics Sonic Underground: One of the government officials is played by Gary Chalk who portrayed Eggman in Sonic Underground. Misc: Eggman naming his robots Badniks The exploding helicopter bot is clearly a prototype for the Buzz-Bomber. Sonic Boom: Sonic having volcanowonderpants in Boom and saying Guac in the movie just have the sake vibe for me. Tails tracker: Is probably the ‘Miles Electric’ (my guess is that he was tracking Sonic’s chaos energy) And probably a bunch of other things I might’ve forgotten.

The electrical serge around Sonic reminds me of that time he was turning into a Werehog for the first time.
