Why is Jimmy Carr on here? He can dish it out, but he can also take it. Many times he was the butt of the jokes by other comedians about his tax affairs (8 out of 10 Cats, the big fat quiz and other programs), but he took it all in his stride. Not once did he lashed out to those jokes. In my book he is not obnoxious at all! But that’s just my opinion.

I would very much like the compiler(s) of this video be subjected to listening to someone humiliate their close family on camera, knowing they'll later see it. I'd love to see more of James Cordon getting caught out. In my opinion he is so undeserving of his success and his arrogance to speak to Patrick Stewart like that just says it all, as well as his embarrassingly, almost word for word plagiarism regarding Gervais' joke. What an obnoxious little prat. It really sucks that as the father of a seven year old, it seems every second animated movie we watch has this hack's voice in it. I put my kid's enjoyment above my own of course, but with Cordon it can be bloody hard sometimes!

To be clear, those things are mutually exclusive. You can be right (although I’m not convinced she is) and also be obnoxious. In JK’s case she is 100% obnoxious. It’s one thing to support a position but it is another to attack others who have different views. She accused Graham Norton of supporting rapists just because he said his opinion (as a celebrity) wasn’t really relevant and we should listen to experts. She deleted posts where she’d complimented Stephen King as a writer purely because he said he believe a trans woman is a woman. She actually went back through her timeline to actively delete them because she didn’t agree with 1 single opinion that had nothing to do with his writing.
