Great movie, as good as any 'high-budget' ones I've seen recently - and we watch a lot of them in this house full of young men & older boys (foster mom & Gramma here); all my boys enjoyed it too, even the older ones!! So great job, People. Only one thing: 36:37 it skips over Philip Schneider's claims 1 & 2, picking up on 3 then cutting out at 6. What are the first two & one(s) after 5 please (I'm asking for the kids lol!!??)

For us to actually create a paradise in a new world, however, we would have to overcome the challenges that plague us now, and can be expected to plague any species of sentient and non-sentient life forms. Specifically, the competitiveness fostered by social evolution, without which we would either stagnate or become prey to those who are more competitive. I liked the slow pace and careful conversations, but I couldn’t accept the infiltration stuff, because humans have always been at war, in fact the history of the human race is a history of war, so blaming it on aliens is not very useful as a plot theme.

When did anyone in the move suggest that? He just bought for $60. Tank could have been half full. Strange habit of paying first. Here (The Netherlands, but the same in all countries in Europe I've been to) you just fill up your tank, then go in and pay.

I saw a lot of going on about this being a good movie, so I watched it. While the plot was not bad, the acting was terrible by everyone but the alien's girlfriend. And there was barely enough of the plot to make a KZfaq short. The rest was padding. A lot of minutes spent watching people walk or drive or staring at peoples faces to fill the run time. And all the plot, every last second of it, was delivered as Forced Exposition. A decent plot executed badly is not the same thing as a good movie. That said, it was free and I don't regret watching it. I can say that much.

Great movie, however, I don't understand where that first scene at the beginning ties in with the rest of the movie and how it ends. It doesn't make sense. It's like something was left out.
