Apple Watch 9 battery drain is bad. Watch went from 75% to 20% in 4 hours Got better briefly then used workouts and battery almost died. Have to charge every day or it will die. Just an update. Had to call apple for help. They suggested to unpair and repair and see if that helps. Miraculously it did! Now I get a while 3 days out of my watch. I do shut it down at night. The 3rd day is on battery save mode. I’m impressed!

Installed the new update on my Apple Watch SE2.. took about 30mins.. 2 improvements I noticed, screen will on when flip wrist, previously had to shake wrist to turn screen on. Second, crown scroll very smooth unlike before. Looks like this update is my favorite update for both iPhone and Apple Watch.

Great video as always. I have a bug wondering if others have it too. When I try to set a watch face from the watch app on my phone it doesn’t set it. I restarted both my phone and my watch . I have an iPhone 15 pro max and and ultra 1

I got the new Apple Watch ultra 2 and watchOS 10.4 the battery on my watch is awesome it was on 100% for 6 hours before it dropped to 99% I love my new Apple Watch Ultra 2

Something happened to my series 9 after this update. I went from going almost 2 full days of power to 6-7 hours. Any ideas? I chose to wipe it and start from scratch thinking that might help but it didn’t. Today I took it off the charger at 9:50 am at 100% and now it’s it’s at 9%. 🤷🏽‍♂️

I have this weird bug after the 10.4 update. When swiping between watch faces, there are “some” complications that flicker right after the swipe. In my case, it’s the “humidity” complication. The other weather-related ones that are also on the watch face (infograph/wayfinder) do not flicker. It’s just the humidity that does it and it’s rather annoying

The tap to view full notifications is a bit of a mess! When it is switched on, it ignores the "show notifications on wrist down" and no longer shows that notification. It does generate a haptic alert but nothing visual. Since WatchOS 15, Apple have really messed up notifications. Since then, the ability to view incoming notifications with "raise to wake" switched off has stopped working. So if you have raise to wake switched off and you get an alert, it no longer shows on the screen. In WatchOS 15 and before, it would show the alert but you had to tap to view it. They really need to clean this up as there are so many inconsistencies and clashes between the notification settings.

It also looks like this update added the optimized charge limit to the older watches because after installing the update today my series 6 now has the optimized charge limit activated.

Hi, one new feature is that if you see the apps in a list instead of the icons … then it remembers where you were. Previously it would always take you back to the top of the list when you went (which was very annoying)

Anyone else having trouble with this update on older devices? Mines been stuck at "preparing" for what seems like forever. I tried a soft reset of the watch, and it looked promising for a second, but as soon as it got back to "preparing" it seems stuck still. Updating the Apple Watch Ultra 2 worked fine. My series 4 is just not liking something about this update.

On my series 7 double pressing the crown brings up the list of running apps. The issue with 10.4 is that almost immediately it opens the nearest app. This makes it very difficult to select an app or slide the app to the left and press the X to close the app.

This update didn’t let me use Apple Pay and wanted me to update assisted touch in settings every time I tried to use it. I had to turn off assisted touch in both watch and phone. I have an older iPhone.

my M1 iPad Pro 12.9" since doing iPadOS 17.4 update just dies within an hour of charging to full. Will not show up on any windows or Mac to DFU Restore or just Restore in general. Have Reset all data and settings through iPad settings and set up fresh but still does the same thing... After doing some research im seeing an increasing number of people starting to post the same thing happening since updating to 17.4 and with their watches and iPhones too just dying within an hour to two... My iPad is now turned off and not usable until a .1 release drops or they fix what ever is going on. Sad I am an accessibility user and rely on my iPad on a daily basis. Hope they fix soon. Apple Watch SE lasting about 7 hours after latest update for both my watch and my wife. Need to charge twice a day. Hopefully it will get better after some more time passes? Getting 1/2 the time we are used to.

No, it does not include Apple Watch Ultra one. Double tap is specific to the series 9 and ultra two.

I had an issue with 2 brand new Apple Watch serie 9 running on 10.3.1, battery didn’t last, I only had the basic stuff activated. Did any one else have this issue?
