That burning and cleaning does bring out the beauty of the wood and adds a bigger dimension to the carvings that you wouldn`t normally see you are good at this Jordy keep getting better and better.

That's crazy how the grain came out hi/lo! I got to try this. Never had a problem understanding what you explain. "look at that color! Look at that COLOR!!" LOL. It looks like it's on fire 🔥

great pumpkins turned out awesome making a couple the wife seen the sugyban one now thinks she wants one thks for showlng face masks we have wear them going into stores two months already SUCKS stay safe ( now I make a pumpkin )

I feel that shopping stuff, I stay away from those hobby stores. I spend too much because I "need" all the stuff they sell. G.O.A.T. (greatest of all time) Pumpkin! I see why you are keeping it! It is great. You'd have to charge $300 to $400 .

That color with the wood grain looks cool. The little ones are pretty cool to. You come up with some wild stuff. I never used mod podge on wood. Many years ago I used to put together those 1000 & 1500 piece puzzles. After I finished one I would paint a couple coats of mod podge on them. The puzzle would get hard and could then be put in a picture frame or just hung on a wall. Hi Jordy.

you can make your own mod podge at home with Elmers Glue. I've done it. The recipe should be on the internet somewhere. But I don't know about making the outdoor mod podge. Thank you for the great instructions. I've been watching your videos. I have all the stuff to make my first carving but am still a little hesitant. Just need a kick in the pants, I guess. thanks again.

Just use exterior glue . . . instead of the the regular. Someone should test it. I'm gonna bet it will stand up just fine outside. . . . oh maybe I should do a test and get back to you all!

These pumpkins look really good. The Shou-Sugi-Ban pumpkin turned out great. I had some doubts when you started but it looks great! Have you ever used the exterior Mod Podge on your wood spirits so they last longer hanging outdoors? I follow your videos all the time. Keep up the good work. Thanks much

Another wicked piece Buddy. The extender you used is readily available at Big Box Stores, hardware stores etc. The one I loaned you was two together to make it a little longer. Here's a link to make your own Modge Podge lulastic.co.uk/thrifty-2/homemade-mod-podge/ I think if you use exterior glue it would them make for a better exterior finish.
