TY, Perfect even in V2! Long, time (late '80's) Adobe AI & PS user, happened to find McGimp (for Mac) filters G'MIC. G'MIC has a fun Drop filter but takes a LONG time to process in McGimp (

When trying Liquify, it ask for pixel layer or mask.....Mask doesn't work so what next to try?

You have to rasterize a layer before you use liquify. Right click on the layer and select rasterize. In the tutorial, I used a pixel layer so it was already rasterized. Be sure to have the layer ( not the group) selected and then liquify.

I would used a different background color for realistic color for rain drop.

The beauty of it is that you can use any background. I used green because some might want to put drops on a green leaf.

Its not working anymore, I've been traing to do this step by step, It doesn't work anymore, Whoweber, I use another techinque and the result works, anyway thank you and I hope only my affinity photo is the ussue
