What is the max rpm you would run. Have you designed an impeller with a different pitch (different speed or more torque) or were you able to find a metal impeller and what motor were you running on it. Thanks. Wicked project, I have been wanting to make one for a while now.

What motor are you running with this? I'm working on a kayak and my goal is to get 10 mph +. Maybe by running a twin setup. Do you think this could work? Or do you have any suggestions?

What is the pros of waterjet ? 7000 rpm 15 kg thrust is not weak? 3500 rpm 360 watt trolling motor give 15 thrust. What is total watt hiur that you used 360 watt? I wanna build a bodyboard for spearfishing. It can work with 9000 rpm 3 hp 2 stroke engine as well?

HI, What does the unit come with? Im planning on building a DIY jet thruster for a kayak for the heck of it. How long will 2x 6S 20,000mah last in series for the motor?

Hello. I bought your files and printed them. I am planning on doing a gas powered surfboard with this. A highly tuned 80cc engine with about 10-12k rpm directly. I'm planning on multiplying the rpm since power isn't a problem (about 15hp). At what rpm should i use this? I want it to be at least 30-40kmh. 20k?

@@MultiCoolStuff1 what do you think an aproximate speed would be? Maybe i can print another one and use two of those

@@MultiCoolStuff1 I do have one last question around the shaft, I was finally able to find an 8mm one but how does the impeller attach to the rod? In your instructions you say to use a "8mm thick with 70mm thread at one end". As far as I can tell I can't find such a rod. So you are saying I need a lathe to make this?
@kiwiJetsurf Жыл бұрын
@@AndrewWorkshop You can use threaded rod.

And which bearings and seals did you use is this setup?
@altaccount46972 жыл бұрын
@@joeykuijpers2996 I'm not the original poster, but on my waterjet I put silicone between the inner part of the bearing that spins with the shaft and the shaft itself. I also used a sealed bearing. This is on a 1.5 inch (38mm) waterjet.
