Yes sir this is very important info. We were told that somewhere in Bannerghatta, govt authorities while executing a road work, blocked a drainage, diverted the sewage water for preparing concrete!!😮

Can we use Borewell water for construction in Bangalore? It will be hard water compared to Kaveri (River) water we get in Bangalore. Since we have to construct in remote place where there is no water supply from BBMP would like to know your detailed opinion on this.

@Manju SM Hello sir, You can use water from any source but when you have doubts get the water tested for its quality and see what is the pH value of the water is ? If pH is in permissible limit then use it or try to get water from nearest source with proper pH value... Thank you sir...

Slump collapse means I'm considering it to be concrete slump. In concrete initial will slump will be collapsible only do admixture added in it and since no initial setting time has being crossed or other than specified by client for various use. Like concreting on slope requires less slump then it can't be collapsible it has to be around 70-90mm in slump...

Hello Mr Santosh kamate Water is decided based on the grade of concrete. Higher the water content lower the strength of concrete. So, always try to make ball of concrete and see. If the ball collapses very fast & only jelly is left with sand then reduce water content. If the collapse is slow and doesn't seperate with other materials it's good concrete..
