We're searching this section of the river because of the extra-small blue shirt found in this location a few weeks earlier which appears to have stab wounds and buckshot bullet holes along with human soiling.
Is this potential new evidence related to Suzanne?
AK took pictures of the shirt and placed it in a safe location for CBI and the Sheriff's Office to find and retrieve for evidence.
At this time we know that CBI has asked for DNA from AK just in case there was any cross-contamination.
Suzanne Morphew, 49, who was reported missing on May 10, 2020 - Mother’s Day. Today's Livestream will provide a brief overview of our search efforts and why we had to leave early because the safety team felt our lives were in danger.

Adventures with purpose is on a cross-country journey to help bring resolution to families seeking answers in where their missing loved ones maybe.
The search for Suzanne was kept a secret for we knew there may be a risk to our team being in the area. We are now out of the area and safely on our way home.

Just to bring an update to anyone, yesterday, 05/05/2021, her husband was arrested and charged with first-degree murder. There has not been a statement if they found her or if he confessed but he has been charged.

I can't recall a single other missing persons case where there were threats made to the volunteer searchers like in this one. Somebody is very nervous-and dangerous. On a side note: searchers should start bringing ziploc bags, disposable gloves and a pen or pencil to bag up possible evidence after taking photos of it as it lies at the scene. Just because there's a highly unmotivated LE team on this case doesn't mean there always will be. Gotta keep searching, praying, bagging and tagging. Eventually the right person or agency will get involved and process that evidence. Keep up the great work everyone and be careful!! ❤️

Is there verified/proof of these threats or just people claiming they're being threatened? I live in CO, was just near Salida and BV recently. A surveyor is not an odd occurrence here. Half of California has invaded our state in the last two years or so. Lots of building all over the state.

I don't know the victim, but like others, I continuously pray that she will be found. I truly believe she is watching over all of you. Stay healthy. Stay safe. Suzzane’s Dad(RIP) and her Brother Andy, who has done several searches himself, said that when the Family moved to Colorado, they no longer heard from her or the girls. We have been told that the girls were on a camping trip that weekend and they called Barry when they couldn’t get in touch with her. I heard it was a Church group camping trip they were on, but I have to ask the question, that was the weekend of May 9-10. Most Churches were still closed because of Covid at that time, so would the Church take a bunch of kids on a trip???? Plus I have heard, that both girls hired Attorneys, and separate ones at that!!! WHY??? Why do they need Attorneys and why separate ones??? The only thing I can think of, is I had heard that Suzzane had a sizable inheritance, over a million dollars I believe, so that could be the motive for her death, so who is her beneficiary??? The girls? If so, are they scared of their Father so they get lawyers?? Because if they are gone it goes to Barry?? I really hope someone out there can answer these questions for me, because they are really bugging me?? Then to hear that people are watching and death threats have been made to the searchers...??? WTH???

That AK guy is a very humble and empathetic man and you can tell he didn’t want to burden or waste anyone’s time, but standing outside the drivers door of the RV talking to him, you could see in his face that he needed to go search in that river...and he needed to know someone was there with him for some reason... he felt something in that place.

Kurt certainly comes across as other-wordly, like his eyes and mind are always flitting to things that the rest of us miss, or take for granted. Maybe that eccentricity and openness to possibility are the skills that are required in this case. Unconventional maybe, but definitely a top bloke - I imagine you could have some fascinating conversations with him in a less fraught setting and that he's a damn good friend to the people around him.

Real evil exists in this world... these guys are nice guys... maybe because of that, they might not believe this, but anyone that tries to do something good for real in this world becomes a target. Arming yourselves and being prepared mentally, physically, and spiritually to surviving evil is important. Combat Survival is something these guys might want to put some time into learning. As I watch more of these videos, I see some things as a person that has lived an extremely violent life that I think these guys aren't aware of.

Aww, I had tears in my eyes whenever AK got emotional about the case & I could actually SEE how "invested" he is in finding Suzanne!! Having no found her yet is ripping his heart out...yet he KEEPS GOING!! No matter HOW MUCH misery & broken heartedness that HE feels, he will NOT STOP until Suzanne comes home!! Not only giving his TIME to help others, he ALSO shoves aside his OWN FEELINGS, for no other reason than to honor the missing person & honoring his commitment to bring that person home!! He doesn't get paid to help these ppl, & he's DEFINITELY not after the recognition/fame of finding a person, so nobody would've faulted him for walking away!! Most may even be like myself, in that I had no idea who AK is, nor did I know he was even THERE searching!! He could walk quietly away! BUT HE KEEPS GOING!! What an AMAZING man!! You guys travelling across country donating YOUR time & skills to help others, is ALSO pretty INCREDIBLE!! We could DEFINITELY use a lot MORE men in the world that are like you guys & AK!! What amazing hearts you all have!! Just have to say one more thing, then I PROMISE I will end this NOVEL!lol The skills & experience that AK has in these types of searches could very EASILY have made him arrogant or cocky! Psychics aren't real. They can be entertainment if they want to do party tricks but when they pretend to talk to dead loved ones or that they are finding bodies they are complete scam artists and grifters trying to make money off the grief of people. If you pay attention to it, it's always right too. The trick is not to argue with it. Do whatever it says without talking yourself out of it. We usually learn about it by not listening to it first.It will always keep you safe though.

I really really hope that you Jacob, Sam, and Dan go back to this area and any others that we're unable to be searched really well in the winter, in the spring when everything is thawing out. It's so sad that these things happen to people, but an awesome thing that you all do, too volunteer your time to go out and recover and bring home the people that police or other searches couldn't. I love your channel, Love all of you and what you do. You guys are amazing. I've been binge-watching all your videos. I've also checked out Nug and some of the other channels that you've mentioned in your videos from time to time. I and my husband live in Pennsylvania in the country/ mountains... up the top of Bloss mountain 3000FT up. My husband and I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!! We also are happy and willing to volunteer our time. You can tell that this is weighing heavy on Kurt. He has not only his time invested in this but his heart is clearly very much invested in this search.

@A K I do EVPs and have been communicating with Suzanne for months now. My interpretation is that the best place to find her is in cement in a lake. The blue shirt was not hers, it’s a fake and planted. Her clothes were burned (not 100% sure that’s what was said) and something about construction. I speak to Suzanne, Stephanie Hollingsworth and JoAnn Romain. The three of them have formed a bond. I told Suzanne they are gonna find her body and she said “good murder”. When asking the name of a person covering up for Barry she said “Mike”. I don’t know if there is a Mike near the case. And I’m not sure any of this is helpful however I wanted to share with you. If you have questions you would would like me to ask her I am happy to do so.

@@joloughlin577 I think you should tell them this through email because they can look into it and see where this is, and also if enough people that do the same thing ask her these questions it will be more believed by police and they might serch, i think the team of adventures with a purpose and the people helping them should have armed men with them because if someone is wathching them and thretening them thhey need to be carful, they could have weapons and try to hurt them if they find her or get to the spot she is at.

there is only one good thing that comes out of cases like this, in a world where we are surrounded by greed, selfishness, a lack of value for lives, where the majority of folks are wrapped in their own selves, in a time where everything is disposable/dispensible, we also get to see the true beauty of humanity. people from across the world truly feel deeply and emotionally about someone they have never met, and luckily there are those that can physically, mentally, and financially try to move mountains to bring justice to the victims. you genuinely are amazing people, your emotions are palpable and you restore faith in mankind! thank you, and every single other person who tries to do good things in life, especially those who do it purely for love. the cosmos gives back what you give it, so all you good people out there stay positive and giving, somehow all that generosity will come back to reward you someday 🥰

Well said! Adventures with Purpose is amazing & we are so thankful for all they are doing! I just wish they weren't deterred from doing what they do best which is diving in large bodies of water because I believe they had a great tip. There are just too many patterns & behaviors that don't sit right with me on this one & who intercepted/directed the help from this & previous searches. Killers are even known to participate on searches because they want to be in the know so by no means is this farfetched. I pray I am wrong but I am pretty on point when analyzing which is exactly why Barry refuses to go on camera unless he can have full control yet they were still able to see things in less than 30 seconds. Body language is my specialty & actions ALWAYS speak louder than words. Add that with all of the facts & connections I listed because this is far from a huge jump. Praying for justice for Suzanne & continued success for Adventures with Purpose! 🙏🙏🙏

Have you guys ever considered searching for jenneifer kesse, an Orlando cold case? The area she went missing is surrounded by dozens of ponds etc, and only one was ever searched. The police failed miserably in helping the parents, and they've gone in debt obtaining the investigations files, and have been told they are now entirely responsible for any continued investigation.They're on their own, and it's been 14 years, but I really think the case needs more attention, and all the bodies of water in the area should be searched. She deserves justice, and needs someone to search for her.

I think it’s also important to point out that this 200k reward is for the “SAFE return” of Suzanne Morphew. You can see that these guys aren’t out there for a reward when they are obviously searching for remains 😞 This is a labor of love.

I lived in Colorado Springs and Denver for more than 30 years...was an avid fisherman, and there is a little High Altitude lake going toward the summit of Monarch Pass, turn right at Maysville, then follow the road up and up toward the summit of Shavano mountain. There is a little water impoundment, that is noted as 20 to 30 feet deep, always very cold...also there is a large mine/tunnel up there called the "Pride of the West". There is just a one way in and one way out however but it is VERY isolated.

Front range rescue dogs, frrd, based out of Boulder County has some excellent cadaver k9s that we have used for recovery work in the past. They are able to detect underwater cadavers as well. Maybe reach out to them and see if they would be willing to assist.

Hi guys. I love what you're doing! Listen, my Dad was a hunter, tracker of small game. I grew up around hunters. I am also a 30+ year domestic violence legal advocate. I do have an interesting perspective. So I'm gona throw something a bit different at ya.... When we went camping/hunting growing up, my dad would often take fresh game and put it in a sack, large bag, and using rope would pull the game up into a tall tree so bear or other large predators wouldn't try to take the catch overnight. Has anyone considered (I'm sure you have) she is wrapped up in pieces up in different trees. Just a thought because most ppl who aren't trappers, hunters, trackers wouldn't know to look up high. Everyone's searching the ground and there are huge tall trees out there. Also a good hunter knows especially if you've ever worked with hunting dogs, that if you want to catch males you use female scent. If you want to mask scent you cover it with a repellent scent. Just hunter 101 kinda stuff. If you're worth your salt as a hunter, you know how to draw scent and repel it! Thanks for all you do. Much love! Melissa

I believe She was missing way before Mother’s Day unless someone actually saw her on that Saturday or the day of Mother’s Day. Quarantine caused few witnesses to Barry’s movements so I feel like he hurt and disposed of her with his construction tools (cement, etc) or I wouldn’t be surprised if he had goons working at a funeral home to cremate her. This is taking too long to solve, this beautiful woman deserves to be found!!

Im praying for recovery of Susanne everyday. Her location gave the killer confidence that her body would be extremely difficult to find. Perhaps they underestimated the interest of the public to find her!!! Strangers worldwide feel the injustice of what has occured and we are incensed by it because we are humans. I've been rafting on the Arkansas River several times from Buena Vista to Salida with The Wildness Rafting. If she was in the river I would think someone would have seen something... that is unless she was caught somewhere. That's so crazy though this area I've gone to several times in my life. Snowboarding at Monarch, my grandparents lived in Buena Vista for 50+ years, my dad lives about 30 min away from Salida. So sad this woman is still missing and that there appears to be people attempting to PREVENT people from searching for her. I hope she's found.

I agree but first the daughters have acted like they lost their mom already and not that she was missing at all that’s how Barry acted and is still acting. So the truth needs to come out and people looking for a stranger they don’t even know is awesome yet so sad cus her husband and daughters haven’t really done anything, well Barry has he declared Suzanne dead just to sell some property that’s messed up and Barry has spent a lot of money and selling things left and right. Yeah the whole story makes me think what kind of life did Suzanne had up til she disappeared??? No one was with her on Mother’s Day what is wrong with her family... I’m sry this just upsets me the more I see from this bizarre story or lying alibi from husband that just keeps getting more of a lie then a alibi!!! Hopefully Suzanne will be found, thank god she does have her brother to look for her and is telling us her story❣️❣️❣️

@@carrieseaton8738 just to say the plans on Mother’s Day was for the girls to spend the day with their mother. They were running late coming home from the camping trip. I’ve heard this from numerous sources as well as early on as in the first week of her disappearance. The other stuff I have no idea why they’re acting like they are. IMO Barry convinced them long ago that their mom is deceased. Which I believe as well.

There are no words to explain how emotional this video was. From day one,So many have been invested and searching for answers and leads...just the truth period.And beautiful Suzanne! Imo what I just witnessed from these guys was exactly how so many have been feeling yet we never get the chance to see it. Only listen to others or hold conversations online. I sooo wish I was with you people. I too am an emotional and compassionate person. I too don't fear for my own life, but say even so much as you will smack my kids, you will be on the ground quicker than you can blink. To put me in a situation like this only increases my determination to save a life, fix a problem or put an end to peoples agony. I am a fire and rescue in South Australia so have dealt with a fair share of tragedy. I feel that if I can provide some form of co fort to those who are hurting, then my job is done. I love what I do and I love my fire and rescue family. Hopefully your overlook guys are catching photos of these creeps. I'd be looking into them for certain. Get more people in and really put the heat on, someone will slip up. Chin up boys and girls, you are doing a brilliant job.

@Brenda Smith if you listen to Rev Donna Seraphina's reading, where she describes what happened to JJ Vallow and Tylee Ryan...before they were found or even the location had been discovered, it might change your opinion. I'd read commenters saying how spot on she was, but I hadn't found it, yet. A couple days ago, KZfaq brought it up. I didn't know that was "the" reading everyone was talking about. The detail she gave of the property and what was done to them, was SO spot on.

@Brenda Smith AK is not strange or weird. It is very clear that he is a kind and loving person that is doing all he can to find Suzanne. He cares about justice being brought to "whomever" murdered her, and peace for her brother, dad, and family. It is so frustrating to see the person that did it (in my opinion) seeming to get away with her murder. AK and the others are out there to help bring that injustice to a screeching halt. I do believe Suzanne is leading them. She will eventually have the justice she deserves. I believe that she is speaking to them; guiding them. I also hope that she is speaking to the perp and making his (IMO) life a living hell. They are closing in on him . It may be taking a little longer than we like; but Justice will be served.

When something happens traumatic and someone goes missing people care for a day or two and then they block it out of their mind and continue on with their normal life. That'll be because she's still tied up somewhere with the rest of the girls from his "cases". Give it time and you'll see. He's using all these fake psychics and readings and these wishy washy theories and feelings to cover up his crimes. He has a fetishistic desire to "find" these people, fabricating "evidence" and spacing out his snatching with genuine investigative work and finding missing people to further throw people off his scent, like the firefighter who loves to watch things burn he will keep going fulfilling his sick fantasies until someone finally cuts through the bullshit and catches him in the act. That's also the reason why the local people are so hostile towards the investigators and teams he brings in, they know that something is very wrong about him, they can feel it in their guts and they are watching him, they know in their hearts what happened

Her picture on the missing page- she's standing in front of a body of water... is there a way to find out where that was taken? If it's a lake that was frequented by her and her husband that's in the Salida area- maybe that's where he could have put her as well? Just a thought...

Depends if the geo data has been cleared from the photos facebook and social medias remove that information for security so you cant track a person if u can get hold of the original definitely would be able to find the location where the photo was taken

I think this episode was a wild goose chase, with almost 0 chance of finding her. The other episodes presented really good theories and a lot more logic. This felt like a hunt for Big Foot show, where of course they never find big foot.

You can't solve them all, but it's certainly a good case to work on. By springtime, rains and snowmelt will make it much harder to locate her if she's in water. I hope she is found soon! With that said, your videos are getting better and better. Jared is getting better at narrating/hosting, Sam is clearly getting more comfortable in front of the camera, and Dan's production of your videos keeps getting better and more professional. Way to go team!
