It’s still fun I may get out of breath climbing the stairs to the slides but I enjoy the gentle slides the fast and rough ones I don’t like

I am 66 and I still do the water slides. Yes, kids point and giggle and it makes me chuckle but I am still active. No rocking chair for me.

Great. Some healthy elders shouldn't be confined to rocking chairs & nursing homes. They should be active & enjoy thier lives. I'm a member of an adult daycare center. We exercises our " minds & bodies" throughout our days. I've been going to this center since October 2021. It's a great program for semi & healthy elders. They have 3 R.N.s ,L.P.N.s & a few volunteers throughout our days. I can't drive.( I'm on very strong pain medications.) The state bus company & the center has set up scheduled bus or vans for non driving members. It's 45 min away. I believe in nursing homes to a point. Not all elders should be in a nursing home. Just stay active & enjoy life. Ignore the " giggling & finger pointing people." Be strong in being active mentally, physically, & spiritually. Enjoy Karen. 😊😉👍❤️💜⚘️🙏
