Watercolor magnolia paint along tutorial demo

In this magnolia paint along we can practice using magenta and violet mix in a soft tone. We did some mixing color on paper. I will walk you through step by step. Thank you VERY much for this lesson. I truly enjoyed learning your method and listening to you tell about painting and other "life" things . I come from a very artistic family but did not start to paint until about two years ago. I am 70 years young. I am learning and having fun. It is also a form of meditation for me. Tonight we are getting a major snowstorm in Michigan and doing this painting is very calming. You have really captured the beauty of the magnolia tree.

Dear Carol, I love the way you teach. Thank you so much! I have learned so much from your techniques. I just want to practice till I feel it's frame worthy. I am now going on my third attempt at the magnolia's. I am truly amazed on how well I'm doing for a beginner. You make me happy. I tried the poppies but I need much more practice. Kathy,now I am finished with my magnolias (cherry blossom was my first) I have problem with my splashes,they go everywhere but where I want them to go

I went to your website to print an outline so I can paint these beautiful flowers, but I couldn't find a link to print it. Is it printable?

Oh you mean my drawing for you to trace! It’s because I am uploading it to my blog! So wait till later this evening and go to sunsetpeonies.com that’s my blog! Under this post you will see a pencil drawing and you can trace it and trace to watercolor paper! Then you can paint along! Sorry the blog post is in process now! Thank you for reaching out!

If you are printing from a desktop computer or laptop you should be able to press control P and then it will let you print the page. Otherwise you can right click on the drawing and save the image and print it that way. Hope that helps!
