Super video Trevor. If I've learnt anything it is to not try and panic and think I have to complete each figure as quickly as I can. I have a tendency to rush my watercolour paintings because I'm terrified of back runs and cauliflowers, but you've shown that if I can keep a nice pace there is time to go back to areas without worrying too much.

Thanks Trevor, that's very useful . We got a close up view of how you tackle figures. It really emphasizes what I do wrong. My exercise tomorrow morning ( when it's cooled down here ) is to paint along and try these figures. Hope I finally get it.

@@TrevorWaugh thank you for your videos, I'll keep on watching...cant wait to see part 2 and other watercolor tutorials! I'm learning to paint now, in my 30ies, but, you know: it's never too late! Just struggling to find some paper to keep the paint wet enough for me to let the colors bleed into each other or lift the paint, without having to rush it! Ciao and sorry if I made some english mistake!
