Painting a watercolour landscape using a limited palette of Ultramarine Blue and Burnt Sienna. An exercise in layering and blending to achieve depth of tone and colour.

It's wonderful to mix your own grey. The next study for me to learn about the various shade of the color grey is to conduct two side-by-side drawings - one of this lesson (two colors) and the other using only Payne's grey (one color). it will be fun to contrast the transparency and luminosity of the drawings. Thank you for your demonstration.

Thank you! I rarely use pre mixed greys, unless the piece really needs it. I have another video using only Payne’s grey. There are several combinations that will create either warm or cool greys. It’s fun to experiment

Bonjour... C'est une oeuvre tellement belle et paisible....il y a des moments ou je trouvais que c'était assez beau pour que cela soit terminé, mais, non vous ajoutiez encore des détails. MERCI !!!!
