i just got back from Norway a couple days ago and this was one of the most amazing things i have ever seen. especially because i had no idea it was about to happen. the Flamsbana stopped at the waterfall and i'm like "damn it i don't wanna get out again!" and it was so cold and windy and wet out there. then the music started to play and the Huldra appeared and i was in awe! such a beautiful song too. i almost cried it was so freaking magical lol.

@@ben50 really wish that the tourists could be able to meet up with the huldra… (maybe the huldra goes to the top at the end of the performance?) (I'm just jotting down ideas) I had this "story" in the back of my mind regarding this. It was about this woman by the name of "Meski" who reacted to scenery with singing and dancing. She was at Flåm at the time, and would go and visit Kjosfossen once in a while. She also had this red dress that she felt was very comfortable (she did not realize it was a "huldra" dress), and also a remote-controlled toy airplane (trust me, this will make sense) She went to Kjosfossen just before the train arrived, wearing her red dress. Mesmerized by the waterfall, she (naturally) started singing and dancing, as she waited for the huldra to appear. However, when the train arrived, the tourists swarmed around Meski, all wanting to have selfies, chat, and dance with her. Apparently, the tourists thought that she was the huldra (they knew that they usually can't interact with the huldra, so being able to was quite an opportunity). This erupted into a dance party at the top, and the real huldra was left utterly confused (though the huldra didn't yet realize that Meski was wearing a huldra dress) The second time, she brought her remote-controlled toy airplane with her, and attached a message to it. The dance party occurred again, leaving the huldra displeased, because her performance got "taken away from her". This time, Meski stayed at the waterfall for extra long, and waited till everyone left, then steered here toy plane to where the huldra would appear in their next performance, with the message "Dear huldra, I would like to meet with you. I will be here on . Love from the red dancing lady, Meski". This was her way of indirectly interacting with the huldra. The huldra received this message, and decided to meet Meski on the top before their performance on that day, knowing that otherwise, Meski might start another dance party, ruining the show. On the day, Meski arrived extra early; when the huldra went to the top, she realized that Meski not only looked almost the same as her, but she was also singing the "huldra song", and that was why all the tourists were attracted to her. Meski and the huldrantook some selfies, chatted and danced for a while, and then agreed to let Meski hide somewhere and only appear after the huldra's performance is done (but they will leave the music on). Just before the train arrives, They both get into their positions. Everything went successfully; after the train arrived, the tourists watched the huldra's performance, and this was followed by a party where the tourists get to have selfies, chat, and dance with this "other huldra", or Meski. The tourists loved this new idea; after all, Meski and the Huldra are both gorgeous ladies, or as one might say, magical huldras. This is basically all I've got at the back of my mind. Sorry if this comment was very long, I just felt like I had to write this down.

It's amazing, especially because they don't prepare for what you will see. I'm thinking- "This is a cool train, and we stop at really nice waterfall. We stop for 5 minutes, and out of the blue I hear a lady singing- it was nice. If my cousins (Norwegians) knew- they didn't tell me. BTW- this is one of the coolest weekends I've ever been apart of.
