i grew up in waterford, from 56-67. we lived in the crescent lake neighborhood on crescent road. i have many good memories of those days. ten foot snowdrifts, riding in cars on the ice on crescent lake, ice skating, swimming in the summer. bike riding, playing softball.

I appreciate those kind words! I’ve heard that more than a few times. Fortunately, the numbers aren’t a huge thing on my mind, I just want to educate and help people and if a video helps just one person, I’m satisfied with that.

Good points. Been a longtime resident. The people in general are friendly but wish there were more variety as far as dining options but as you said it is central and relatively driving distance to surrounding areas like Clarkston, etc.

My father moved us to Waterford from N.C. when I was 2 and I love it here. I have moved away 3 times and I keep coming back, and back to stay now. My lake is Elizabeth Lk. ❤️ ⛵️ And you pronounced Sashabaw wrong, you were close lol .. Enjoyed the video:)

What are the property taxes like? I’m sure they are higher than surrounding area just curious on how much more that could be.

Hey Brandon. I can throw an average at you. For example, if we are looking at a $200k home in Waterford. The annual (summer and winter) taxes average around $2800-$3200 based on the county tax rate of 1.55%. Of course there could be some fluctuation here depending on school district, local authority, etc.

... taxes across the street are waterfront and are a lot more than my side tho and ... they don't make anymore waterfronts ... but bring your dreams here to Waterford ... Uber or drive your own here ... winter is getting milder ...

Who edits your videos. I try to pay attention to the video, but I get so distracted by the editing (in a good way). It shows a lot of work.

As long as you say it’s a good distraction haha! I know sometimes my videos can be overwhelming visually, but I try to veer away from boring talking head videos. I edit my videos myself. It takes a lot of time, but it’s a hobby of mine that I enjoy. Once you get your flow and imagine where you want to go with it, it gets much easier.

@@LivingInMichigan I know that the first fire truck they had was a 1941 GMC pumper. The town still has this exact fire truck in the Waterford historical society village.
