Darrell Brooks, 40, faces 77 charges, including six counts of first-degree intentional homicide and 61 counts of reckless endangerment for allegedly driving his vehicle into the Nov. 21 parade in downtown Waukesha. In court, Brooks has become so disruptive the judge had to take multiple breaks, and Brooks was forced to watch the proceedings via video from another room. NewsNation's Ashleigh Banfield says she's "never seen anything like it."
#Waukesha #DarrellBrooks
On "Banfield," big-name celebrities, newsmakers and public figures join Ashleigh for a unique opportunity to sit down and talk. No debates. No shouting over each other. A conversation. Weeknights at 10pm/9C.

Exactly. Those victims, the others injured and traumatized, and their loved ones, deserve the court to respect them and Shouldn’t be further traumatized by Brooks behavior. Anyone else would be so done if they acted the way he is. She’s too worried about the consequences of her removing him from court, instead of giving due consequences to him for his actions. It’s obvious if he files for a mistrial or anything, it’s obviously his own fault that he be found quilts, and suffer the consequences. All that will happen from allowing jerks like him to act like this is that their will be a never ending line of other defendants in courts all ove the USA thinking they can also act disrespectful and get away with it. When they get reprimanded, THEY will sue because the judge in brooks case let him do it. It needs to stop. Another judge needs to be over the case because she won’t stop him. It’s disgusting and pitiful. It pisses me off. I’m sick of entitled people, claiming they were the victim when they killed and injured so many. The trial has gone off the rails and it’s almost become about Brooks instead of the victims and their loved ones. It NEEDS TO STOP!

I am but a layman, I have been around the courts and watched quite a few trials though. I might be wrong but I have never seen anything like this before. I have never seen the prosecution so attentive to the needs of the defense. I have seen judges who take interest and concern of the defendant. But nothing like her. She is my hero that judge is my hero. She shows such patience, decency, and dignity. Alls I can hear out of the defendant is whining and crying about me me me it's not fair me me. He wants everybody in that room to show him compassion dignity and respect. I don't see any of that coming from him at all about his victims. I'm pretty sure all of them could say hey you didn't have the right to run me over. So I'm seeing zero compassion from him but a ton of compassion coming from everyone around him in the courtrooms.
