for 3 years ive been going on and off trying to figure out if i have wavy hair because my hair looks just like yours, it dries straight but somewhat frizzy.. Ive been cutting my ends off for 3 years and have never had past my shoulder length hair, because of me thinking the frizz is damage or dry or just something other than curl. Im so happy i found this video because i almost lost hope for good this time and just keep cutting the ends and continuing the cycle. Frizzy hair doesn't look that great. Poofy hair looks amazing, and a little frizz is fine, but a lot of frizz means you aren't taking care of your hair, and it also just looks like a mess. I agree we need to normalize looking normal, but ultimate frizz isn't necessary nor desirable.

All the products she uses will not damage your hair. They are silicone and alcohol-free.
@user-wh5ir4fo4r9 ай бұрын
Mechanical damage is more likely as you toss and turn over the pillow. Satin pillowcases are good but microfiber is fine. My best tip is to braid it or put up in a scruchie on top of your head. I do the former if I'm wearing it brushed out that week, the latter if trying to preserve my waves/curls/whatever you want to call them. MIne is very long and I'm lazy about it so I wash once a week.

I find that difficult so I rinse it upside down and apply products in the shower upside down. This gets the roots separated from the scalp and mitigates the weight of gravity. That helps it take on its natural spirally pattern more easily so I don't have to style it.

It IS naturally wavy. I can tell by the way it looks when it's wet. It looks like mine. If she had straight hair this wouldn't make it wavy. This isn't necessary-her hair will still wave- but she can do this for a different look if she feels like it. She doesn't need your gatekeeping permission.
