You could absolutely do it if you have it in you. If you have the ability to take your personality and amplify it by about 60% you'll have an audience. You can start with your own stuff just using your phone camera. (I don't have personal experience, I just know by watching channels grow from the ground floor)

I'm not sure what strange mix of engineer and knife designer came up with this knife, but part of me is SO GLAD that they did! It's so interesting and impractical in so many ways for my knife needs - EVEN SO, a part of me wants it! I think because it taps into that 'Lego/ puzzle' part of my brain.

Put it between your first two fingers with your thumb on top of the lock release. Then you have two points of contact finger choil and spine lock to prevent it from cutting you. It is impractical as a push dagger for self defense. Only because it doesn’t give you a way to carry it in a “ready" condition. So it looks like it is made for assault/ offense not defense because of that. Because in order for you to use it in that mode. You had to “morph it" in advance to utilize it in that configuration. Unless you make a Kydex or other material sheath for it in push dagger mode. Just my two pennies. Cool design though. More of a collectible novelty currently without a way to carry it in both configurations. One last thing @metal complex. The push dagger handle can be useful to people with arthritis. Or for other conditions and impairments that can effect grip strength and ability to use everyday objects.

I see they decided to save a few dollars on the packaging. I bought one last year (directly from Forever Steel, before the Rike partnership apparently), and it didn't come in a pouch. Instead, they sent it in a block of wood with a knife shaped whole cut into it. The knife was still wrapped in the plastic you can see in this video though. I had to pry the damn thing out of little block of wood. I actually don't even know where it disappeared to. The issue of the blade being able to be unlocked when morphed, isn't really that much of an issue. Sure, it can unlock, but the spring is actually pretty strong, it would take a fair amount of force for it to fail. I also wouldn't recommend stabbing it into a hard surface, but I wouldn't recommend stabbing any folding knife into a hard surface. I do love the knife. Expensive, impractical, and awesome. One of my favorite knives in my collection. Forever Steel makes some pretty wild designs. Should definitely check them out.

A bought one of these gems and there is absolutely no blade play at all. Also, in the push dagger configuration, you were pulling on the thumb studs, that's why the knife blade came unlocked. I challenge you to get the blade out of the locked position without touching the thumb studs. This knife is safe in the push dagger position. I know you don't want to say it, but in the push dagger configuration it is designed to be a weapon, not to be jabbed into a piece of wood.

I could not think of anything worse than to think you have been punched in the face or eye, only to find there was a knife attached to their knuckles very bad and evil knife. And to think we would be living in a world that people need something like this? get hit by a stick or a kick or punch live to see another day. get punched in the chest by this, and it could be the last thing that happens to you! not a fan here in Australia there are so many stabbings every day.
