When I first watched this, I thought who is this old timer blazing away on the steel guitar. Thanks for the name! Led me to look up his other work. Guy is a legend. Love his playing style. So silky smooth and can play both a swoon and at high tempo.

They may try but there will be no replication. Waylon is absolute! What a life he lived. Good, bad, ugly, it is in his music. I cut my teeth on it in a honkytonk in NC in a dry county in 1981 ish Man! Sure miss them days🥹

Ahhhh !!!!!........waylon jennings live in concert rockin that telecaster and then ol Ralph Mooney hitting a lick or 2 on his pedal steel him and waylon jennings performing live on stage the 2 of em go well they always would compliment 1 another so good and would also always try to out do the other when playing their instruments lol love to see them both it's fun and really exciting to watch... I enjoy these live performances.. Waylon Jennings sure put on a great concert!!!!

Well, at least in Country, it happened when people started having to tell you they were men. Having to remind you that they're country. Gotta mention that tractor, gotta mention the truck, gotta mention the boots and clothes. It reminds me of the expression "All hat, no cattle". There's not a soul on modern country radio that I believe. I don't buy it for a minute. I just hear bad pop with a forced accent.

These were all individual, hard living, passionate, flawed, brilliant, made it their own way men who sung what was in their hearts and didn't take crap from anyone. They bared it all. They had character and personality. Nowadays it's all sterilized, mass produced and "safe"

@@justinuptonn261 I can't listen to it. It just seems so fake. Waylon didn't have to tell you he was country. Most of the songs he sang, didn't just appeal to country people. If you understand pain, Waylon's right there with you.
