Waynie Wonder, one of the true all-time GREATS of Jamaican music. Been listening to him from since about 1988. Sweet voiced, just like Sanchez. At one time, we used to get him and Sanchez mixed up, because they sounded so similar. Don't hear WW speak much, so this is a collector item! Big up 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿👊🏿👊🏿👊🏿

My only “grievance” with Buju is him removing ‘Boom Bye Bye’ from KZfaq and ALL music streaming platforms. He’s removed it from the album that he dropped back in the day too. That really upset me. Luckily I have old dancehall cassette tapes with the song on there.

The fall out happen over "Deportee" according to an interview Sly did. Wayne & Sly thought Buju should have given then a cut out of the sales from Deportee because they are the ones that wrote it. They didn't get it & from there things start go down hill

Wayne, figuratively speaking Buju has come of age. When one comes of age they know longer consider themself inferior, but equal. Maybe that's the reason for the present impasse. It doesn't necessarily mean he's ungrateful but maybe just standing his ground as a Star in his own right, moving away from anyone who refuses to acknowledge him as such.
