Thank-you! As someone who is involved in the nail industry, I see so many people looking for 'hypoallergenic' nail products. I am frequently explaining that there are no regulations over what can and cannot be contained in a product labelled "hypoallergenic' and that there is no governance about when a product can be labelled as such. Another annoyance of mine from the skincare industry is '86% of women saw improvement/younger looking skin/decreased wrinkles' etc. Without actually taking the time to read the fine print, consumers don't realize that the test group was 6 women and rarely do they disclose the age or skin type or any other demographic information! Cheers and thanks for your truthful exposure of how companies are using vague and empty terms to manipulate the consumer!

@5 Minute Nail Art! : Thank you and YESS! 😏🫣😉 I'm also need to take a deep Breath when I have to read something like this! I was working over 40 Years in a broad Medicin-Spectrum, from x-Ray + Labor to Accident/Emergency/Surgery and Obstetrics and then Midwifery. Nobody should get allowed to sell something with unprooven Facts, so like "hypoallergen"... this means only, that some very harsh and for allergic Reactions making known Stuff is not used in these Products. But there are Millions of other Chemicals/Extracts a.s.o. which can give an allergic reacting to us! Same with this "clogging Pores"-Lies and Vaseline/Petrolatum/Paraffinum liq. = All same-same 🥰🤗😃😂😂. Just some Days before the Younger Lady in a "exclusive" Beauty-Shop explain exactly this to me, that "Mineral-Oil" is' the badest Thing in Earth for🙄 my Skin! But Coconut-Oil we're totally different, YESS, it IS, but If there is used the Word "Cocominoacids...pp.," and there are a lot of other chem.Words, and which are formed and extract from the native Coconut, but massive changed in their Complexions by Experts in Labors! 😅 These has nothing to do with Coconut-Oil anymore. 😂🫣 And then she startet with explain to me the Differences of these which I wrote Up here ☝️ - 😂😂😂🫣 about Vaselinum. I could cry, really ! (Oh oh - my English kills me - I hope you can understand what I mean? 🤗😮‍💨😓)

But there are dermatologic causes for hair issues they may have mistaken for age issues. This guy has shown how to look flawless at any age which I am so thankful for! And I love makeup!

OMG, I never thought about the “before” being purposefully dehydrated! It makes so much sense now! I can do that with my own skin - days I am dehydrated before my skincare - it is a huge before and after in my own bathroom with my current skincare! Wow, and I rely on those silly before and after photos often. Thank you for waking me up!

Lie #1 is needing makeup in the first place. Lie #2 is that makeup improves your skin health. Lie #3 - a product itches, irritates, stings, reddens, makes more pimples, etc. “because it’s working”. Lie #4: Natural vs. chemical. Where do you think chemicals come from? I’m Wayne’s age and while I’m not as good-looking, my skin is still as lovely despite illness, many births, menopause, stressful life, etc. using drugstore, kitchen, and homegrown items and eating without fads or fancyness. Not particularly good genes either. Gentle cleansing, good inexpensive cream, and hats in the sun.

Actually, wearing makeup CAN improve your skin health. Most people only ever effectively cleanse their faces when they're wearing makeup. So, if wearing makeup encourages you to look after your skin, it's all good. Eye makeup can also prevent people with allergies from wanting to rub their eyes, so there's that too... 😎✌🏼

I find the Charlotte Tilbury product claims amusing because they're always so over-the-top and often in all caps, no less! Plus, when she cites her pseudo scientific claims (like, this product visibly reduces wrinkles by up to 80%), there are usually like 10-30 people in the sample group over a really short period of time.

Thank you so much for “it’s just my face”. I get criticized regularly for stuff and I can only say, sorry that’s just my face. Then ppl want to argue. My mother was particularly bad about saying I was pouting all the time. I have a large overbite and my bottom lip sits on my top teeth. Nothing I can do about that, it’s just my face. I have barely visible top lip, so I’m accused of being mad. I have next to no eye lashes or eyebrows, so I look like I’m sleepy, or crabby, or stoned. Sorry, it’s just my face!

Yes! Thank you for this video. I’ve learned from trial and error what my skin can tolerate and what it can’t. Mineral oil is the least of my concerns; it’s never broken me out. The noncomedogenic and nonacnegenic claims drive me absolutely spare. I see that all the time on products that are chock full of acne causing ingredients.

I love the ads that tell you this product will tighten your jaw line or other parts of the face or neck. I am so sorry but as we age things move and no cream or product is going to fix things. I just watched a video on how we really don’t need to spend a lot of money on eyeliner pencils or lip pencils as they are all basically the same and some are even produced in the same place! As an Aesthetician I cringe at things I’ve heard other skincare professionals say to clients. I always say more important than WHAT product you use is that you find products you ENJOY using so you stay diligent in your routine. Nothing really works if you only use it sporadically and often “wrinkles” people are concerned with are just a little dehydration.🥂💕

Seriously, I have had many more allergic reactions to “natural” skin products than I ever had with skin products containing mineral oil or petrolatum!!

Only one thing once made me look ten years younger - i didn't even ask for it nor cared. I did an acupuncture treatment for a health problem, 6 weekly sessions in total. At the third session, my skin was different (and i have very good skin as is), i looked ten years younger. Even my hair changed. One month or two after my last session, i went back to not look ten year younger. However, It did resolve a little patch of dryness i had always had on my nose, and never again have i had a peeling nose since then. I was 39 when i did the treatment. I never at any point asked to be made to look younger - i know acupuncture for cosmetic reasons exists, but that was not my case. However, it was incredible to witness what it did.

Hi Joyce , avoid talc , I got ovarian cancer 28 years ago , I’m very lucky to be here , in the hostpital I was told by a Lady who was waiting there who was a scientist that asbestos like fibres in tAlc were known ( even then) to cause cancer by working their way up inside the body from the groin , I am now in a lawsuit against j&j. Talc , for damages , the case has been settled in usa ,already , don’t take any risks ,xx

Appreciate your honesty.. Many of us get fixated on the promises of the claims & when it doesn’t work we become frustrated that we’re doing everything to achieve these ‘promises’ yet see no real change. Spending too much $$ on products can be depressing in todays climate as everything is expensive

My grandmother always moisturized with Vaseline or mineral oil and never had wrinkles one thing I noticed though is that she always washed her skin before doing so maybe some people find it problematic because they trap dirt in if they don't wash first before applying them.
