"Stay present", It is the best tip I've ever heard.

All tips are really helpful. But one tip that I want to follow immediately is 'Stay present'. Sometimes I concentrate on a word which I don't know the meaning or I can't understand. It makes me not to understand the whole meaning of the sentence and context. And it also stresses me out and then I get tired. From now on, I will not foucus on a word and be obsessed with perfection. Thank you teacher Teela. Your lessons are really really helpful to me.

Yes. When I started to look for something in KZfaq in my foreign language to make doors, Windows, parts of house and how to work parts of the cars, it was very easy and helpful for me. I felt that I was increasing two skills in the same time. It's very recommended.

The tips I use first that is “ the perfect is enemy of fluency”. Because in my mind, I always want my self to speak perfectly to make all people to understand. I scared I use wrong grammar, so now I ‘ve just known when I speak the important is fluency and comfortable, use the British tune, and gesture and facial expression. In empathic communication, the rule 7 38 55 (Albert Mehrabian), where in the message 7% is the content, 38% tone and voice, and 55% body language requires a deep listening. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Teela I am a spanish speaker, I like your tips and I will try to do it's tip 1 about stay present because I think it's true what you said about fluenty and to be perfect, sometimes you ruin the conversation thinking or trying to be perfect. Also a teacher told me once to watch 3 times a episode of a serie or maybe a movie The first time with spanish subtitles The second time with english subtitles And the last time without subtitles.
