In today's video we spent 3 days driving our little tuktuk Aliya all over Ella searching for the best things to do in the area. We hope you enjoy it and that you can even steal our itinerary! I meant sunrise, it took a bit over 3 hours but it was worse while. It was a magic you could see the shadow of Adams Peak on the clouds.You should do it next time! Nice video series! I defiantly wanna go back next year. @@waysoftheworld_

Hi! This makes us so happy to hear. It was our goal for other people to fall in love with Sri Lanka too! ❤️ We usually book in advance (a week or so). We like to have the peace of mind of knowing where we will spent the night 😂 In the low season you should have no issues booking as you stop, but in the high season we recommend booking in advance :) Enjoy paradise 😊

We stayed a total of 4 nights - 3 in Badulla 1 in Ella. But we had some slow days where we stayed in and worked... You can see a lot in two or three full days in that area. 😎

Very informative videos you do a great job. Is it feasible or worth doing a day trip from Kandy to Ella? We are basing ourselves in Colombo and Kandy for a week each and aim to do day trips due to the range of ages on our family trip ranging from 9 to 80. Thoughts?

Hmmm, no I think that would be too far to go back and forth in a day. Also, Ella town is not much to see. So once you are there you'll have to do stuff, like hike or visit waterfalls. Being in Ella town is not the same as experiencing Ella, if that makes sense? Nuware Eliya is slightly more manageable, but still quite far.

What to do in this place on "arrival card" for visiting srilanka. Name with initial means?? What to be written here ( name rudra roy as given on passport then what will be there??

No, it's not banned (unless it was recently changed). Though there are a decent amount of military camps around the country, obv you don't want to fly near those. And it is banned to fly at the Ella train - we used stock footage for those drone images.

That's NOT lump rice, you just ate rice and curry wrapped in a banana leaf, also that hopper is a badly cooked hopper, it should be crispy.

Get a rent a car next time. Tuk Tuks are not very safe if you get hit. Sri Lankan drivers are not the most disciplined.

We appreciate your concern, but we wouldn't give up our experience with the tuktuk for anything. It added so much to our experience in Sri Lanka and made our trip so much more memorable.
