Күн бұрынI used a plugin to put myself in the most impressive Rocket League goal scenarios to see if I could recreate them the same way they happened in RLCS. I started with the most impressive goals back in Season 1 and finished with the most impressive goals of present time.

I used a plugin called Ripcore to see if I could score the same extremely impressive RLCS goals that we see professional players pull off. Some of them turned out to be a lot easier than I expected while others were a lot harder. It's interesting how impressive Rocket League goals do not perfectly line up with how difficult the Rocket League goals are. Psyonix recently announced a new custom training update to come soon so I hope this feature gets put in the actual game soon with that update. Not only is recreating the most impressive and famous Rocket League goals fun, but it's also useful for training.

It's actually insane how often your shots were "saved" by the replay bots. It just shows how well the defense is structured to account for a bunch of different scenarios in pro games.

nah they arent even close to what players would do, the two shots that he said are better or he would personally do are os much easier to save than the actual shots

id love to see this video but instead of shots try to save shots. Like see if it were possible to save the 0 sec jstn goal. Always wondered if it was somehow possible to reach it just in time.

Every shot is saveable with enough tries, if you fail like 5 times you will already know where the ball goes and how it goes into the net, the hard thing is being able to save it first try in a match with limited boost and pressure

my recommendation for the plugin would be to be able to edit the replay in such a way so you could also play the defenders pov after recreating the shot first. That way you could get the best out of each potential scenario, which would make replay reviews way more effective if coaches used it. For example, you could show whats unsaveable and whats effective.

Hey @bendix! I’m VexuL and I actually am one of the founders here at RipCore. If I’m understand you right, you actually CAN play as defense and defend all of these shots! Now you sadly, currently cannot shoot, and then save your own shot, but you can save the shot exactly as was in the replay file you uploaded! :)

since all the inputs in the match are just a replay, nexto would probably just take the ball to the ground and dribble, but the players would all be in random places (other match being repeated) and it would be an easy goal for him

You can do it dude! All of his stuff is really helpful, and I also watched plenty of things from other guys' (Leth's and Flakes' roads to SSL, ApparentlyJack, SpookLuke) content, so as long as you also get lots of good hands-on practice in the game, you can make it happen. In the end of f2p season 4 I was gold, and just yesterday I earned my diamond rewards, even though I'm playing on Switch! Dream big, and have fun doing it.

I love the fact that Deevo's Waterfall is an absolute masterpiece. That player was by far the best Rocket League player in the time and one of the best of the history.

I think this just shows how absolutely bonkers these guys are mechanically. Having the confidence to pull these shots off in RLCS, whether down to a bit of luck or just mechanical genius paired with insane reads, really blows my mind. Great recreations too!

Btw for the Deevo waterfall double tap, you should have did the move he did at the start before the ball dropped on him, so you got a easier way to aerial

With flip resets your going to have to learn how to compensate for the awkward bounce, it’s inevitable your going or have bad bounces on some flip resets so if you just improve your general aerial car control you should be fine.

Wayton i believe that although possible some goals mightve not been scored if the pro hit a powe shot etc. as the reaction of the defenders wouldve been different

one big problem i see with this training tool is that it will inflate peoples egos and give them the wrong impression that they are able to do things better than the pros. This will all stem from the fact that it's a replay, and not account for the fact that in a game the defenders would respond completely differently from slightly different approaches. In the opening moments of the video Wayton says "he did not have to air dribble this, if he had a light touch and just took the shot it goes right in." That's wrong, the players were responding to an air dribble, not a clear shot that they would have reacted to and saved with no problem at all. It's an incredible plugin and I DO advocate it's use. I think using this tool could be an overpowered way to train. However I'm telling you people are going to get big egos from "playing against" pros in a recording and will probably start to think things like oh this professional made a bad decision, when no.....just no

I loved this video, it was fun to watch recreations of crazy goals. However, combined with the pressure of being pro playing against pros and also the fact that the opponents in the video are only reading the specific shot means that all the talk about the fact that you could just shoot it rather then air dribble doesn’t work, as if you had shot in on a real pro back then and they were in the same spot with the same amount of boost, they most likely would have saved it

Johnnyboi did a video recently on the craziest saves in competitive RL, I commented on that saying someone should do a video like this but trying to recreate the saves. Might have been on his 2nd channel(brian). Some insane saves though that might not even be possible to recreate on purpose
