This is so true, nct as whole is like a bunch of best friends who happened to be in the same class. Then each unit, i get that family vibe (either wayv, dream, or 127) among them. Then come superm, bcs they were coming from 4 different group i get the feeling of big brothers (senior) and the little brothers (junior) being together in 1 group where the bog brothers taking care of their little brothers and guiding them and the little brothers listen to them carefully, learn for them diligently and be devoted and good brothers.

@@helenas7948 yeah sm artists are more outspoken compared to other companies artists but still not as free as they should be, it can be understood by taking a look at those who left sm and their personality shifted actually here my point is about nct/wayv only, sm has more control over nct even to those members who debuted in 2016 and are considered senior now, especially when it comes to talking about their concept which sm is SO stubborn about I don't remember any nct member directly expressed their discomfort about their whole brand system, sometimes they did indirectly but not as bold as ten said in this interview

Yeah, Ten even immediately corrected the host (Peniel ?) when he said that NCT are like a family to Ten. I feel that Ten is so smart with this topic. He didn´t say the word ¨NO not like a family¨ directly, but just put the word ¨best friend¨ instead to positioning NCT.

WayV just vibe they have know each other before debuting so he was already close with Kun, Lucas and Winwin and we keep hearing that he hung out with Yangyang predebut. I feel like they all experienced being in SM's basement and may have bonded over stuff like that so it's one of many reasons why they're closer. Cause he literally trained with NCT but puts them down more as besties. Idk man I just appreciate his honestly.

You're never gonna click with people 100%. But the right people will love and respect you regardless of that. Don't force it. Be who you are. You are not for everyone, and everyone is not for you. Quality, not quantity. Trying to mold yourself into someone you *think* others will like robs them of your true self just as much as it robs you of your true self. Also, literally no one is worried about you, because we're all too busy being worried about ourselves. Be weird. It's a good thing.

That's comforting. Bc listening stories about how other people are such good friends with each other that they do everything together make you wonder - is that how friendships is supposed to be? Should I click in every aspect with someone? Am I supposed to be in every group circle of my friend in order to be close with them? No one told me that seeing your friend once a month to hang out is normal but some seems to do it practicaly everyday. I don't have energy to do that maybe that's why...

If you and the other person are content in your relationship, that's all that matters. It's what works for both of you. Comparing your friendship to someone else's is setting yourself up to fail, because they're not you, and you're not them. As long as both people are happy the majority of the time (every friendship has its rough patches), it's a solid friendship. Don't let it stress you out.

It feels very rough when you're in it, so I try to be reassuring (without being condescending) that we're all just doing the best we can, and nobody has anything figured out. We're all just pretending to have our stuff sorted, and that's okay.

I think Ten really would make his own label in the future like Jackson Wang or Lay, cz he is already involved in the whole work from clothing to instruments and mv making, he has the potential and ability to be a real solo artist among NCT members, he has so many thoughts and ideas I hope he really will have the opportunity to make his own music by himself, he is truly artist

I was also like that, I was hanging out with a lot of different group of friends but I don't have one specific group that I am part of, I just float around and some times I feel so lost and empty. But right now, I am happy that I found certain people that I can be myself and we'll be there for each other.

I think Ashley understood what the writer was saying. She wants to find that one best friend who she shares a deep connection with. I’ve never had that so I can definitely relate. But it’s true that you should just be yourself, so that person will find you. And if not, you should still be true to yourself. Don’t ever try to be like someone else. You’re unique and there is no one else in the world like you, so embrace it.

My exact thought. They didn’t really understand what the writer meant. I have only had a best friend when I was in my early teens but once I moved we grew apart. It’s been about 10 years and I haven’t found someone that I click with on a deeper level. You share a common interest with different groups but it feels empty when you don’t have that have person that you connect with.

I have to say that Thai idols really have a mastery of so many languages. TEN, Bambam, Lisa, Nichkun, Sorn! They rock! I struggle with two languages and all of them speak like 3 or 4.

For Ten NCT: Best Friends , when all of them together seems like party WayV: MEH! Family don't need to be formal, can understand each other without even saying anything SuperM: These Hyungs are my idols😌Now we can walk together , sleep together or shower together😅 ( flex)/ These Hyungs are cool /they pamper us a lot😋. I think SuperM to NCT members is comforting although the schedules are tiring but hyung line really love these NCT boys .

Interesting to hear the member's perspective of different vibes from each group cus I always feel the same with each unit of nct. Like 127 is the uni friends that share dorm together (their dorm stories are really peak uni students behavior), Dream is the group of childhood friends or the cousins that always play together in family gathering, and Wayv gives pretty much family energy. I'm not mentioning which one is better or worse. Each unit has their own unique image and of course it must be different from each other. I mean it'd be weird for SM to make several subunits only to make them uniform, right?

It's true though most people don't instantly click, that sort of intimate relationship is usually built up over time. I've only ever seen once where two people click instantly because they're insanely similar (same hobbies, personality etc.), that sort of friendship is the exception not the rule.

One important lesson I learned growing up is that you can't please everyone, no matter how hard you try to change yourself. Because over time it gets tiring and you cannot keep a mask on forever like what Peniel said. But by then your true self shows, and you won't be the person others thought you were. It's not worth faking your personality to make people happy. The best thing is to genuinely, be yourself. Don't try too hard to fit into a certain persona and be comfortable with your vibe, and those who like your vibe will want to know you better and become friends. Being yourself means to not put up a fake front but of course make an effort to be confident and smiley! Obviously don't except people to come running but you will get that few genuine people who take interest. Be yourself and always make new friends so people KNOW WHO YOU ARE.

i feel OP on this one tho, my high school friend group was kinda like that where we hung out kind of as a social obligation and there wasn't really anything real between us. it helps when you get older and you can branch out and meet more people

When WayV was first announced, I was really confuse why Ten was placed in it, only because I thought it’ll be unfair for him due to language barrier and being away from NCT 127 members that he trained and debut with. But now I can see why. He really clicks so well in WayV. His position as main dancer and lead vocalist is needed and his chemistry with other WayV members are solid. Makes sense to make him a permanent member.

I think the main reason was that Ten is of Chinese Ethnitcity and the entertainment company wanted a Chinese sub unit. What you said is probably the result of Ten being part of WayV

@@ahmadsolehyn295 Ten is not "of Chinese Ethnicity", he's never said that and his ethnicity means his DNA which ofc we don't know. All that's ever known is Ten has some Chinese ancestry from great great grandparents in a side of his family, and tiktokzens have been susing wrong words and wrong information. Most Thai people have Chinese ancestry! Bambam, Nichkhun, Sorn and Ten all Thai idols and all have chinese ancestry. It's very common for Thais. Ethcnity is exact DNA, most Thais are mixed and Thais don't define themselves by ethnicity Unless he talks about it "chinese ancestry" is a better term. But this is not the reason Ten was put in WayV: the original plans for WayV didn't include Ten and included other people. He ended there last minute. He didn't speak Chinese either. Theres also no ethnic purity tests to be in a unit like you say, that's made up by fans, you think Ten had to submit a blood sample??? Yuta is Japanese and he's in the Korean unit! We don't need to make up stories SM freely switches members around in plans and improvises the whole system. There was an NCT Thailand in the works that never happened among many others...

Hearing him talk about his members really warmed my heart. But they're right. You're never going to 100% match up or please anyone and no one will be that way for you, so it's best to be true to who you are and true friendship will follow.

I know we have been worried about him getting over worked (WayV NCT U SuperM) but guys Ten himself said that he loves to keep himself busy and that makes him happy. I hope we wont concern about him too much and just enjoy his career path as much as he do. Thanks Dive for having Ten !
