Over 400 trees were displayed at the 1st WBFF Regional Convention, Surabaya - also the PPBI Piala Presiden Bonsai exhibition - selected out of 1000 submitted entries. This truly was an amazing show and we are glad to share the beautiful and distinctive Indonesian style of Bonsai with you!

Theres names shown with quite a few trees in the video? The trees with no leaves have been defoliated, so we can see the branch structure well - its often done before shows.

Thank you for the tour of these magnificent trees!! What a fabulous show! May I ask that you add the years of age, if you can, of the top 5 winning trees in the future? I would love to know how old those were, even if approximate. They were just breath taking!! Thank you!!

I would love to but it would be wild guesses - sorry I cant help you there! Some of these trees though are hundreds of years old (collected trees) and some are grown from seed (and now perhaps 50 years old).

How old are these trees and I imagine for such large trees teams of people are working on them? Thanks for the coverage. I just got my first bonsai juniper 2-3 years old in a nursery pot right now.
