Bonds are handed down by a chief judge or local judge in jurisdiction. There is a bail schedule for every state to follow. But I believe judges have the discretion to adjust accordingly. I believe it has something to do with the defendant’s flight risk, means of paying bail and other factors, previous crimes. Look up wherever the crime in this county is and see bail schedule. It’s an eye opening read. Educate yourself with the bail schedule and see why we say that judge should be fired or what the hell are thinking . I was enlightened. I say this so we can move forward and stay on the path of justice for everyone. Laws are weird so stay educated people. Take care everyone.
