Mr. Big always say something nice enough to get Carrie hooked on him/ or calm her down/ or prevent her from leaving (when she's tying his tie "I could get used to this" ...and "do you know someone who's right for me?") ....while not offering a complete commitment. He's a master manipulator.

I used to love her in my 30s hated her in my 40s hitting 50 with a great deal of sympathy for her because love can bring out the worst in you. No one ever warns you about that.

When I watched this as a twenty-something I sided with Carrie. Watching it now I realize she got what she asked for by pushing someone past the boundaries they set. She should have just walked.

Me too. Had met her at his sisters wedding in Mexico I wasn’t at, she was from Chile. He broke up with me the day he got on his flight to be with her I had no idea about. Married her a year and a half later. They’re still together 10 years later.

God Carrie was so clingy, insecure, and annoyingly persistent when it comes to Big, like why do you care so much about his past when he never asked about yours? also, why do you care to go all the way to her office and look more desperate? I see why Big never felt comfortable during this relationship, she was so paranoid

I mean is someone wouldn’t even tell you their age and you’re sleeping doesn’t even tell you they were married would kinda make someone a little paranoid. Then the end “do you know someone for me” was a a heart jerker because he knew she would play on those words. I’ve come to understand a lot of people are still very naive and are easily able to be manipulated by what they agree with on this show 😂😂😂

Acting like he gave a damn😂😂😂 knowing he didn’t. Look how he came begging the night before she went to Paris. I mean he also knows what she wants but continues I come back to her knowing her expectations hasn’t changed. He was much older and already divorced and more experienced. He knew exactly what he was doing
