I think the value resorts have stepped up their game all around with their room refreshes and their food. I usually stay one or two nights in one at the beginning of every trip. I don't often eat anything but breakfast in the food courts and when I do, I tend to eat the kid's meals because the adult meals are just too much food for me. Now I have this picture in my head of two carrot cakes meeting in an ally ala West Side Story and singing and dancing off.

I only stay at the value resorts. My favorite is pop. I eat there all the time, and I also eat at art of animation. I am not a foodie, but the food is good.

"This is what you get and you don't throw a fit" love that! The bbq pork looked great - I'm not into carrot cake so I can't speak to that. I would want my food not to touch so much - yes, I am that person! But the food does look good on camera - we need smell-o-vision a la Willy Wonka. My mother would not like those green beans - she's southern and no southerner ever said "these green beans are overcooked". I really wanted to see you (Deni) join that flash mob on the Q-pid shuffle - it's a fun dance! I cannot eat sweets for breakfast so I enjoy living vicariously through those who can. We aren't a value resort family - too sprawling and crowded for us. But I love watching you!

And I enjoyed when you and Craig did food videos together. I stayed @ All Star Movies every year for marathon weekend - I LOVED the custom ice cream sandwiches they made in the food court w those amazing cookies! That carrot cake looked great. Really enjoyed the last video on the updated (to me) room layout. I would have ordered the pulled pork sandwich too. Love a good pulled pork. Everything looked delicious and I was surprised by the amount of food versus the price. It looked like a good deal. (Still loving your hair btw ❤)

I stayed at pop century once and I wasn't well at the time. I barely ate the whole stay, but I remember getting a huge cup of strawberries one morning for a snack credit. Loved that. In the morning I'd have a snack bacon or scrambled eggs and loved that. I found that waiting in each line for a particular item was exhausting for me. That was a huge drawback in my opinion, but the food was decent.

Three things: 1) What do your adult children think about your Instagram and KZfaq presence with a focus on Disney? In other words, are they jealous? 2) This would make a great ongoing series at the various resorts. 3) Any sausage links would pale in comparison to those big, juicy links at Boma! I sat and thought the same thing while sitting at Contempo Cafe.

Love you Deni! This was great! My only comment is that the lighting can be tough for some with sensory issues so if you have kiddo or relative with lighting sensitivity be aware so you can plan around it. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Hi Deni! We started our Disney vacations at the value resorts back in 1998 with the Music resort. Have been to all of the values and a several of the moderates. Currently DVC members with the OKW resort as home. My wife and I completely agree that the value resorts have some of the best counter service food on property. Best choices, best quality in our opinion. We wish some of the DVC resorts would "upgrade" their counter service menus to at least match those of the values.

Deni. I know those places get kicked around lots. Before the pandemic the art of animation food court was one of our favorites because of options and honestly it was good. We just stayed at pop a few months ago and it wasn’t bad either. If you are looking for signature , you sure won’t find it. But for a “kids” value resort it’s not bad. Can you do a chicken sandwich video? I think the donut place at the springs is the best. I need other options and opinions with some ranking. :) Thanks Deni.

I recently had that Braised Beef dinner at the Art of Animation Resort Food Court and I agree with you - delicious!

I’ve only stayed at the Pop. The food you had there looked good. I thought the amount you got for the price was very reasonable. Side note….I love your earring on your right ear with all the bling. Where did you get that? I’m sure you don’t have that many piercings. Does it just go over your ear? As always I love your videos and never miss one.

We have stayed at Pop multiple times and have not really had a bad meal. It gave us a variety so we weren't stuck eating the same thing. Most times we had the dining plan and usually had some table meal per day planned and then if we wanted something quick, we just grabbed something.

Hey Deni! Love this! I’ve never stayed at the All Stars. My friends have, though. The pulled pork sandwich at Roaring Fork (Wilderness Lodge), if they still have it, is divine! One of my goals is to stay at all the Disney resorts. Pop is the only one I’ve gotten to from the value ones.

My family stayed at all star music right after thanksgiving last year and the food was.... not good. They tried the non-theme park food (aka not the hamburgers, chicken tenders etc) and were really disappointed. I stayed at all star movies in March and stuck to the the chicken tenders and fries and it was good. I think if you don't venture away from the classics, its ok but I wouldn't endorse the braised beef or the chicken stir-fry etc.

Can you remember the total cost for all your food eating there 3 times a day 😊
