InshAllah brother.. im in the same boat probably deeper than you.. being that I'm a revert. And failed my tests in my first 3 years of being Muslim.. and it just feels like I gave up on my deen.. astaghfirallah I have big hopes that I'll get back obbthe right path InshAllah.

We’re all weak, this is how we were created. Allah knew we would sin and would seek His help and forgiveness. We need to be repaired and maintained by Allah’s mercy and guidance. We must never lose hope in Allah. Mufti Menk is giving us excellent reminders to get back to correct path. May Allah forgive and guide us all, ameen.

Assalamualaikum It was narrated from ‘Aa’ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) used to say: “Allahumma inni a‘oodhu bika min al-kasali wa’l-harami wa’l-ma’thami wa’l-maghrami, wa min fitnat il-qabri wa ‘adhaab al-qabri, wa min fitnat in-naari wa’adhaab in-naar, wa min sharri fitnat il-ghina, wa a‘oodhu bika min fitnat il-faqri wa a‘oodhu bika min fitnat il-maseeh id-dajjaal (O Allah, I seek refuge with You from laziness and old age, from sin and debt, from the trial of the grave and the punishment of the grave, from the trial of the Fire and the punishment of the Fire, and from the evil of the trial of wealth; I seek refuge with You from the trial of poverty, and I seek refuge with You from the trial of the Dajjal…) Narrated by al-Bukhaari (6368) and Muslim (589).
