Actually that dusk fast forward is great. We get to see the twilight to dark.

Hey Baron & Kim. Another great video. Kim, I couldn’t help but to start laughing when I saw your shirt…too cool…what’s going on with your flight lessons? Baron, I can’t picture you driving anywhere that you can take 75W. I had to take a break from flight lessons for financial reasons ( needed new brakes and tires for my 2016 Suburban), but I’m back at it and will be flying on Monday…would love to be right seat in a Lear 60. If I lived in Florida that is…. That sky looks amazing! I can’t wait to get my PPL, so I can get images like that.

LOL, I need to get back here more often! :D Talking of slow aircraft, oh, I got you all beat! Went on a paramotor flight around the neighborhood yesterday afternoon, and when I started heading back to the grass strip I've been using, into a headwind, my ground track was 13.6 MPH! HAHAHA! How's that for SLOOOOW! I let my trims out and managed to get about 16 and a half. Then I got into some gnarly tree rotor when landing, and I ended up wheels UP, head DOWN, lol. No damage, no injuries, so it's all good. Blackhawk builds a sturdy cage and trike. My buddy came and flipped me back over since I was dangling from my harness. Was a wild bucking bronco ride from about 80' to the ground, thanks to tree rotor. Still learning, but it's a barrel of fun! :) Good to see you Kris & Kim! Been a while (my fault)! Great shots - glad you got to fly. Driving sucks! I just drove 9 hours round trip to see an air show in PA that got cancelled an hour after we got there, thanks to the hurricane. I need to trade the '93 Volvo 940 for a helicopter ... :D :D :D

For better night video you’ll want a wider lens aperture and slower video processing speed .

Did you ever figure out why the transponder didn't default to ALT encoding? I'm having the same issue with my IFD ... seems like something changed but I can't for the life of me figure it out. Love the videos!

"Gloria" is one of my go to karaoke songs. "I think they got your alias."

That bit about flying a jet then coming back to the Baron even holds true for me as a Sim pilot. (X-plane 11) I fly an Eclipse 550 jet as well as a Challenger 300. The Challenger is far more complex than the little Eclipse (which has auto throttle and the Challenger doesn't. I like both jets for different reasons and missions but the Challenger takes me about 1 an hour to preflight the aircraft. The Eclipse? less than 15 on good days. Basically the Eclipse is a pressurized Baron with jets and upgraded avionics (Skyview and GTN 650 and 750 touch screen and radios.)

Hi, Loved the "not his daughter" shirt. When my granddaughter was a freshman in college, I traveled on business and ended up near where she went to school We decided to have dinner. She put on a nice dress, I picked her up and off we went. I'm 42 years older than she is. We walked into the restaurant holding hands and the look on the face of the hostess was priceless, looking us both up and down. Intuitively, I felt she disapproved.... I walked up, smiled and asked, "You don't think she is too old for me, do ya?" My granddaughter picked up on it right away, grabbed my upper arm, looked me in the eyes and smiled......then we all broke out laughing. It was a wonderful evening, a true adult conversation. I'm now 81 and she still calls and talks to me or my wife weekly. Love flying along with you, Dennis Miller Anthem, AZ

Was the CCD chip size comment to get controversy and many comments going? Way to work the algorithm! Actually, it's the objective lense size that has the most to do with how cameras see in the dark. Your eyes and cameras close an iris to reduce the amount of light gathered by the lense to effectively reduce the objective lense size and the brightness of the image. The darker the scene, the wider the iris needs to be to allow enough light for imaging. To capture more light, make the lense even bigger. Thus hubble is 2400mm and not whatever a GoPro is -- 3mm, maybe. It needs all that light gathering to concentrate enough light to capture an image of objects billions of light years away.
