About forgetting your hair or toothbrush, my wife and I use Microsoft To Do and have a variety of lists kept in there. It syncs with our phones, computers, tablets, and the web. I can ask Alexa to add items to the groceries list anywhere I'm at in the house and it gets pushed to To Do. We also keep a Travel Checklist (and even a Disneyland Checklist) with all those things we've needed in the past. Before driving away, we always check that list. It's saved us many many times.

I love when Getaway today takes into consideration the small details that turn out to be super convenient or special.

I've never been on a cruise and I have a feeling I never will, I have a fear of the open ocean. But, I totally agree with Amanda as far as wearing the swim suit under your clothes. Whenever the family and I go to the water park, we are all wearing our bathing suits under our clothes lol it's so convenient, rather than fighting for a changing room we are ready to go and in the water before everyone else

Wow...that is crazy!

Was on Wonder of the Seas a few months ago on a 7 day European cruise! I usually get seasick but the ship was so large that I barely felt anything. Our 3 year old loved the shows (especially The Effectors II which you should definitely check out). Other thing to feature is the Alice in Wonderland restaurant. It was so fun and photoworthy :)

I've seen it leave; we were sitting watching the ships leave. It was BIG from the sidelines!

I went on the Harmony. I had a great time. Hit up Johnny Rockets. I dont know what it is? But the burgers are better there than on the mainland. Order 2 of everything it's so good.

I love all the activities like rock climbing, ice scatting, the surf wave... the bigger the ship the more of these. But... I find that as the ships grow the ratio of cabins to piblic space goes down meaning that everything is much more crowded.

Next year I'm sooo doing a disney cruise ship and can't wait to see how getaway is going to be like.

I've never done a RCL cruise, but I've watched lots of videos of them by a Royal crew member named, Chris Wong. Chris is on the same cruise as you as a passenger, so keep an eye out for him. I've done several Disney cruises, NCL and Carnival. I'd like to do RCL one day. Have fun!

I would like to know about activities and amenities for families cruising with children. We have kiddos from 2-11 years, wondering which cruise line is best or if we should wait until they’re older.

I'm hoping to book wonder of the seas for June 2024. Can't wait! We are booked for Navigator of the seas out of L.A. this summer. Your video on hotels and warning to buy my Disneyland tickets before the prices went up helped us extend our vacation! We are flying into SNA, so we're looking for a hotel to stay one night in before the cruise. It would be cool to see a video of you going from sna to Port of LA, and then to Disneyland.

I've never been on a cruise, don't know why. I spent several days in Vegas about 2 weeks ago, it was freakishly EXPENSIVE, cold, smells like piss everywhere, maybe I should've gone on a cruise instead.

If you don't do anything water related or swim suit stuff, is there enough to do? I get bored on ships as most things are made for drinkers and swim suit people. Also do you have to eat with other people in the main dining room? How much larger is this ship than the other ones that it passed? I know corporate disney tried to brag about how much "bigger" the wish is than dream or fantasy, but it's only 12 feet longer and not much more in displacement.

Honest Review of Wonder of the Sea The ship is huge…. Just added more cabins, more overprice Dining options, less venues for activities. Compare to other Oasis class, this has worst layout and less activities resulted boring cruise experience. Super difficult to find a seat at all venue. Music Hall and Bolero is smaller, while Karaoke and photo shop are super large. Service was excellent throughout the ship, including Dining Room and Windjammer. Excellent services provided by Erwin Nelson - Pool bartender, Noor of Windjammer, Fernando of Windjammer greeter, Ping at the Diamond Lounge, Juluis of Chef in kitchen and Anderson Perego of the pool towel station. The Captain is very friendly. The Beverage and Hotel Director Erfin is too pride to talk/listen and be friend with passingers. Dining Room for lunch and Dinner: Due to cost cutting, poor food quality. Very limited selection, limited to 3 appetizers and 3 main dishes. Menu is 12 years old and boring. Do not expect to have lobster until the 13th days. Pork Chops are always over cooked and very tough. However, service is wonderful, but need minor adjustment as to coordination and cooperation. Diamond Lounge: Usually there is a line for coffee. The 2 coffee machines break down daily and often. One machine has been leaking for 8 days. Also, we need more than 2 coffee machines for so many members. Mr. Ping of Beverage Dept. is very good in cleaning and reset the coffee machines constantly. Music: Third class. Bands at the Top Stage of Royal Promenade is a total waste. People just walk by and treat them as random noise that no one enjoy. Only 1 out of 50 people takes time to look up at the top stage noise makers. Boleros: Only place to dance on the ship. The LATIN band only plays the Mexican Pechanga and nothing else. At our request, they start playing Latin songs Cha Cha, Rumba, etc. at the end of the cruise. Not a true Latin band. The dance floor only fits 10 couples dancing for 7000 passengers. Sorrento: Separation of pizza from the drink and snack counter created confusion, and people flow problem. Sport Activities: Great. Zip line is super short. Production show: Wonderful and enjoyable. Enforcers 2 is fantastic. No more Broadway shows. Overall: Boring cruise unless you are super active in sport.
