Why is that embarassing? If people don't want to watch womens football then they don't have to ffs. In all respect to the women i've been to watch England womens games and the quality of football is terrible.

A96oaye they aren’t considered the favourites, they are ranked one of the top teams in the world, but general discussions around favourites in the World Cup are more the US, France and Japan

I was! And at that time there was NO women's football allowed on FA affiliated grounds. A reason why the women haven't won as much as one hoped and took some time to catch up. Being banned for 50 years puts you at the back of the queue!.
